Great staff and a warm welcome, but come prepared for a 'budget' room and a very early sunrise
Pros:

Location is great. Receptionnist was super friendly and gave us a warm welcome. He also shared a ton of great recommendations that really helped us make the most of our stay.

Cons:

The rooms are only 5000 roupies, you get what you pay for: don't expect more. There is no fridge in the room, you will have a small bottle of lukewarm water to last you all night. There are no curtains on a large part of the window, so you'll be woken up at 6 a.m. by bright sunlight right in your face.

Good Value, great AC and location
Pros:

Big spacious room, amazing AC, wifi was good enough. The host was friendly and welcoming. Decent location just a few steps away from bars, restaurants and the beach.

Cons:

Mosquitos were a pain. It happens I know but they were infinite and just kept coming. The host offered spray but they must be entering the room from somewhere

A wonderful welcome to Sri Lanka

It was remarkable

Pros:

Location was excellent, quiet road and home. The owner is a wonderful man who goes above and beyond to make his guests happy. I highly recommend hotel marilyn. As a single female traveling alone I felt safe at the hotel and in the area.

Insgesamt auch nachts zu starke Geräuschentwicklung.
Cons:

Schöne Abbildung auf Booking. Wir waren allerdings untergebracht in einem Zimmer im Parterre. Die Zimmertür ging direkt auf einen Vorhof mit starker Geräuschentwicklung in dem regelmäßig ein Motorrad vorfuhr. Auch das Fenster hatte einen "tollen" Ausblick, nämlich direkt auf eine ca. 2 m entfernte Steinmauer.
