A leisurely break at the Merion hotel
Pros:

Lovely hotel very welcoming very clean bedroom was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly close to the pier and shops just a 2 minute walk i would recommend this hotel to anyone we will definitely be going back.

Cons:

The tv in the room was very old we took are fire stick with us to watch the football but there was no usb in the tv so couldn't use it but other than that it was great.

Probably won’t stay again
Pros:

Breakfast was fine beds were comfortable however the shower wasn’t very good

Cons:

The receptionist on our arrival wasn’t helpful or friendly. She didn’t smile or welcome us and it took 2 attempts to get the correct information and access to the hotel car park.

While my overall stay was lovely, I did feel the welcome at reception could’ve been a little warmer in terms of communication. The lady who checked me in was polite and pleasant, but I found myself having to ask about basics like parking and breakfast times—things that could’ve been explained upfront.
