Old fashioned in the best possible way. Lovely staff, gorgeous heritage rooms and stunning breakfast. Loved it!

Absolutely loved the staff- so so helpful and friendly - Anne was WONDERFUL! So was Larry the chef, Rafael and also the east European lady whose name I can’t remember sorry!
Most delightful breakfast spread and attention to detail
My husband really enjoyed the hot breakfast choices
I was extremely happy with the yogurts, fresh fruit, pastries!
The location was excellent- beautiful and convenient neighborhood
Our bedroom had many flaws- it was Aunt Phillie bedroom all the way on the top- the floor was uneven throughout and the room quite cramped for space. The bathroom was very small and the shower cabin door was stuck half way.
No doubt there were charming decorations, but the above factors made it hard to appreciate the bedroom
A charming, beautiful, historic house, with the exceptional Ann making sure we were looked after. Vintage charm with modern touches hidden away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Personal service incredible attention to detail
absolutely everything!
nothing at all
The property is absolutely stunning! My husband and I stayed here in the Eliza room for our wedding and our experience was simply magical. Ann and her team made us feel so welcome and treated us so well!
The Eliza room is beautiful and beyond comfortable…the bed is probably the most comfortable night’s sleep I’ve ever had. The details in the decor are so charming. I honestly wish I could have taken this whole room home with me.
The breakfast every morning was incredible. They had fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, granola, pastries, and more on a sideboard, as well as a delightful menu to order from (I am a fan of their avocado toast and their full English and my Husband loves their pancakes).
I would like to also mention they have 4 other common areas that are cozy and perfectly decorated. And while I didn’t realize this at the time we booked our stay, I soon found out that this townhouse is a place where Jane Austen’s brother, Henry (hence the name) lived with his wife from 1800-1804. As a huge Austen lover, this was the cherry on top for me.
I could probably gush about this place forever. We definitely plan to stay again.
The hotel/building has been updated/restored to an excellent standard. It is so beautiful throughout and everything has been carefully chosen to take into account the history of the house. There is so much to take in. It’s clear all those involved are very passionate about it. Everything has been well thought out. It is unique. The breakfast room and breakfast was lovely and it was great being able to chat to the other guests. The manager went out of her way to make us feel very welcome. The location is quiet but it is very near the tube station and there are lovely shops and restaurants nearby.
Everything was just perfect.
Luxury, relaxing, quiet, breakfast, comfort, staff and style.
Nothing
We stayed in Henry’s Townhouse for 3 nights for my special birthday and they really did make it the most wonderful stay I have ever had in a hotel.
The personal service was so attentive from the moment we arrived till we sadly had to say goodbye .
The style and luxury just adds to the charm of this beautiful house .
The breakfast was absolutely amazing ,so delicious and served each day by Anne ,who could not do enough for us ,all the staff were so kind and thoughtful .
My son Fraser and I will absolutely be returning to this magical escape in the heart of Marylebone
Loved everything
We komen zonder twijfel terug.
Beautiful
