Pros:

Das Hotel liegt unweit vom Marktplatz entfernt, also im Zentrum der Altstadt.
Es ist ein schönes Hotel mit freundlichen Personal.

Cons:

Der Fernsehempfang war sehr gestört und eingeschränkt, was uns wenig interessierte.
Wir waren von früh bis abends außer Haus auf Erkundungstour.

Auch ohne Schloßgespenst perfekt
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt nur knapp oberhalb des Marktes, so dass das Zentrum innerhalb kürzester Zeit zu erreichen ist. Wenn man nicht den Sternkiekerturm - der sich auf dem Hotelgelände befindet - erklimmen will, bekommt man auch vom Oberdach des Hotels einen schönmen Blick über die Stadt. Das Hotel ist zwar auf "alt" gemacht, wurde aber um 1900 mit allen technischen Schikanen der damaligen Zeit ausgestattet. Bis auf einen Fahrstuhl muss man auf nichts verzichten. Der täglich mehrfache Gang in die Etagen mit den Zimmern bringt das Herz in Schwung.
Nach ein paar Tagen hat man sich auch an die Ritterrüstungen gewöhnt und erwartet um die Ecke keine Gespenster.
Das Personal ist freundlich, der Service zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück reichlich.

Cons:

Eigentlich schade, dass das Hotel sein Restaurant aufgegeben hat. Andererseits hat man im Ort die Qual der Wahl. Insofern vermisst man nichts. Bei kleinen Problemchen ist immer eine helfende Hand vor Ort.
