My wife and I recently stayed for four nights here. This hotel has great facilities: swimming pool, sauna, gym (of good size and good range equipment for workout). Our room rate did not include breakfast, but the hotel gave us vouchers for afternoon tea in the bar on the ground floor, where we had tea, coffee, fruits, cakes, udons and noodles. The best part of our experience is the staff here. Receptionists, lobby manager, bar attendants, cleaning ladies, etc. are all wonderful. They really did their best to look after their guests. We will stay here again next time we are in Shantou.

I stayed in this hotel during Covid for business trips and quite liked this place. I took my wife here for a short holiday but frankly it was below my expectation.
Overall the staff were very friendly and my wife quite liked the free desert sent to our room every evening. The location is fantastic and the hotel is 10 mins walk to the area famous for local food.
You can smell the cigarette in the room. It’s quite annoying. People can actually smoke in the room in Shantou I guess but hotel didn’t clean the smell before check in…
We were on 20th floor and from time to time we can hear weird noises especially in the bathroom.
The shower water was small probably due to low water pressure. And the temperature was unstable.
We were lucky and our room was upgraged.

The Chaozhou restaurant is really good.
We asked for the reception to help us get a taxi but the bell boy got us a dıdi and was not able to arrange for us to pay directly to the driver. So we paid the bell boy in cash. Hotel should be able to arrange for reliable taxi or other transport to train station or airport.
Everything about the place- location, facility and the staff. I loved my room. It was comfortable and beautiful.
