Pros:

The hostel is super clean, there is always a cleaning staff member around.
The beds are comfortable and have a curtain that makes everything very private.
The staff is fantastic, always ready to help you during your stay in Ipoh—very cheerful and fun!

C’est assez simple, cette auberge de jeunesse est de loin le lieu le plus propre dans lequel j’ai séjourné après 1 an de voyage. S’il fallait manger sur la cuvette des toilettes je le ferai sans hésiter. Blague à part, les toilettes et salle de bain sont nettoyées de font en comble environ 5 fois par jour. C’est tout bonnement niquel partout, idem pour les dortoirs qui sont d’une propreté irréprochable. L’emplacement est parfait, central avec tout ce qu’il faut autour et à 5min à pied de la gare de bus. Quant aux hôtes, ils sont disponibles tous les jours pour vous renseigner sur les différents treks alentours ou répondre à vos questions.
Bref je pourrais continuer longtemps mais globalement c’est un endroit où aller les yeux fermés, tous ceux qui se plaignent (si tant est qu’il y en est) sont des râleurs insatisfaits 😬

Amazing price-to-quality ratio!!
Pros:

Close to the bus station, good restaurants and most trailheads. Nice common area where you can work/read/chill and meet people. The small kitchenette is very convenient. The beds were comfortable and the pods had their own fans and electric sockets. There are big lockers for your baggages.

Cons:

There are only two toilets/showers for the entire dorm. The bathroom stalls are very small and there are not enough hooks or shelves to keep your belongings whilst taking a shower.

Pros:

Bagni, area comune e pavimento venivano puliti e lavati ogni giorno. Personale super gentile che ti aiuta anche con consigli sulla città e ristoranti. La grande finestra nell’area comune dà su una bella vista verde. L’ostello é silenzioso e in una buona zona.

Amazing place, worth it!
Pros:

It’s such a beautiful hostel. Quite compact but really nice and clean with everything you need. You’re able to book tours there and the manager Sel is so lovely and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there because of how kind she was, would definitely want to go back!

Super welcoming, central.
Pros:

Clean, nice people, beautiful common area. Food downstairs is gooood very good Indian food for breakfast :)

Cons:

The rooms are hot during the night, not well insulated from noise and light.

Cons:

The „kitchen“ is basically only a microwave, almost no dishes or cutlery. A stove would be really nice!
