Lage, Bett und Aussicht und Zimmer gut. Service und Freundlichkeit und Restaurant war nicht gut
Pros:

Das Zimmer war klein aber ok. Der Ausblick war sehr schön.

Cons:

Das Personal war mal freundlich und mal nicht. Es gab weder einen Wasserkocher noch Tee oder Kaffee. Wir haben am Anfang ein kleines Wasser bekommen und danach Wasser gekauft und wurden darauf angesprochen dass wir das im Hotel kaufen sollen. Das Frühstück war sehr teuer im Vergleich sowie Kaffee und Tee. Es wurde nicht sauber gemacht oder schmutziges Geschirr abgeholt. Uns wurde Tee angeboten den wir später zahlen mussten (der teuerste Tee den wir in Izmir irgendwo hatten)

The airport shuttle bus service fee is too expensive. It costs twice as much as Uber service And I did not hear about the fee before check-out.

Boutique hotel on a budget
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent, a variety of fresh vegetables, cheeses and pastries.
The staff are really lovely and welcoming which is a bonus and it’s a very affordable, clean, boutique style hotel with a limited number of rooms. The view from our room was fabulous as we had a sea and city view of Izmir.
The Kameralti Market is a 15 min walk down the hill from the hotel but easy to access.

Cons:

Climbing narrow stairs up to our room as there is no lift.
The paint needed work on the interior of the building, the doors more specifically.
No kettle in the room.

Pros:

Variante hotel is a fantastic family place located in the old Turkish authentic house. The service was amazing especially I could recommend a typical Turkish breakfast on the terrace with a view to the seaside! The staff was amazing and made sure we felt as at home! The hotel is located next to the old town and a couple of minutes walking from public transportation stops.

Pros:

My room had such a beautiful view and was very comfortable. The staff were great. The location is a short walk to the museum, shops, and port. I hope to stay at Variante again soon. One thing: if you are arriving from the metro (Konak Station) you will walk up very steep hills to get to the hotel. It is a good workout!

A place worth staying
Pros:

The hostess was very nice and helpful… the location is great and very close to many sightseeing spots … our room had a balcony with a nice view … you can experience of staying in a beautiful old historical building

Cons:

All was fine … I can’t say something bad,just as a notice; the room had not a mirror in room , there was just a mirror in bathroom… there was no bin inside the room … the room is not that much spacious that you can open two luggages inside

Exceptional
Pros:

Autentic small hotel in a great location. Exceptional feeling. I was treated as a family guest. Room with sea view have a great balcony. Breakfast is being served in a small cafe with the same great view. It was pleasure to be there.
