Inukshuk Rooms

I stayed at Inukshuk rooms for six nights in early October 2025. Hosts Dave and Celine were very friendly, outgoing and helpful, sharing their three comfortable private rooms with visiting guests from around the world. Knowing I was arriving by plane from Winnipeg, Celine sent me a welcome text when the plane landed, with the local taxi number. They do not usually offer a pickup service. The taxi service was fast, friendly and efficient.
Their modern, two-story residence was clean and well lit, with a large shared kitchen, a large family room with sofas and a well-stocked library with books about the Arctic, polar bears, the fauna and more. A large dining room table was a good place to chat and share meals with other travellers. A local grocery store to buy provisions is a block away. Their home is on the edge of the town.
During my stay, there were a couple of nights of fantastic auroras! You just step into their open backyard, and there they are. Even with a full moon, the Northern Lights were visible, soon after dark, peaking around midnight. Bring warm clothing to stay outdoors for a few hours to marvel at the display!
The hosts were delightful to be with! Dave does work for the NGO Polar Bears International - he was very knowledgeable and informative. I highly recommend a stay with this couple. I know I will be back! 5 Stars!

Celine was such a lovely host, helpful, recomandations for activities, always resdy for a chat. Not in the center of the town, but a quiet place in foot distance with almost everything.

The best accommodation in Churchill! Not only did the host come to the station to pick us up due to the harsh weather, but the house was also exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated with various Churchill-themed items. I would 100% recommend staying here!

Celine and Dave are amazing hosts, who made us feel right at home in Churchill.
They are a very relaxed and friendly couple who were able to tell us the history of of the area,and give us advice about the sites to see in and out of the town that would make our trip memorable.
Dave picked us up at the train, and that was such a great way to be welcomed to Churchill.
The accommodation is very clean and comfortable.
The location of Inukshuk is central and within easy walking distance of everything that we wanted to see in town. We would highly recommend Inukshuk for any travellers coming to Churchill!

Great hosts with lots of information

Its on the edge of town where the northern lights can be seen. Dave and Celine are active in the community including volunteering with youth, the fire department and even the polar bear safety video. They have lots of tips to add to your experience. Close to a market. Full use of wonderful kitchen. She even shared cooking tips. They both have a genuine interest in meeting people from all walks of life and make your visit comfortable and enriched.

Breakfast was simple but always included freshly baked bread

Celine and Dave are lovely folks. They were so welcoming and kind to my 8 year old son. They know so much about Churchill and are very willing to make recommendations and make sure that you have a good time.

This is a warm and comfortable residence in Churchill, the capital of the White Bears. It feels convenient and safe, and we are very grateful for the host's hospitality.

Dave and Celine were exceptional hosts. Not only did they pick us up at the train station but also made themselves available for all of our needs. They used maps to help us navigate the town and shared details on places to go and places to eat. Knowing that I wanted to see Northern Lights, Celine spent over an hour outside with me showing me where and how to take photos. An amazing experience I will never forget and am deeply thankful to her for doing this.
Their home is immaculate and replete with all kinds of photos and local artifacts. It was a wonderful experience for us. We will definitely stay there again when we return. And we will let others know of their lovely home.

Brand-new accomodation in Churchill. Dave and Celine was absolutely nice and friendly. Perfect facility including heating and hot water in washroom. They have vast backyard which is the best place in the town to see Northern Light!
