Pros:

I liked the view from balcony and the size of the room.

Cons:

Food was deplorable. Chef do not know how to make even a cup of tea properly.

Our 3-day stay at Treebo Anjukul was a truly rejuvenating experience. Nestled amidst nature, the property offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere, ideal for disconnecting from the chaos of city life. The food was fresh, wholesome, and comforting, with a distinct homely touch. While the amenities & rooms are well-maintained and comfortable, perfectly complementing the rustic charm of the place. What stood out the most was the warm hospitality—the staff was courteous, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Anjukul isn’t about luxury; it’s about simplicity, peace, and connection with nature. Highly recommended for a mindful getaway.
The property is located at about 7 km from the Dalhousie center, there is space for car parking, Common sitout area on the 3rd floor offers breathtaking views of the hills and valley. Dining place is glass covered from all sides and gives a pleasant view. Food quality was nice and staff were extremely cooperating. One can drive down by 2km where you have a village with some cafeterias, bakery and groceries shops. Overall the experience of stay was great.

Cons:

The nearest market and village is at a distance of 2Km downhill the property, which takes much effort to go there by walk. However, it is just a few minutes of drive downhill.

Pros:

Really impressed by the politeness and cordial behaviour of the staff. They were professional, helpful, and always approachable. Having local staff added a very nice and authentic touch to the service.

Cons:

Although the hotel was neat and clean overall, one curtain in Room 202 had a minor stain. It was not an issue for us, but from a hotel industry standards perspective, it is worth mentioning. I would also suggest keeping tissue papers in the rooms, as they are quite useful for guests. Additionally, since the hotel is located at a high-altitude location, highlighting and marketing the availability of heaters and blowers in rooms would be a great value addition for guests.
