Loved the size of the rooms and free use of the spa! (came with the room)
Barely any staff, quite strange check in process when you need to speak to someone it's through video call. Not very intuitive. Washing machine doesn't have any English guides or translations available.

Very clean, spacious (Japanese size) and well equipped. Washing machine with drying function is a bonus!
The closest subway exit only has stairs. So with heavy luggages, the property is further away from the subway than expected.

I wasn’t familiar with the Minn brand before this trip, but now, I’m a believer. The aparthotel-style room was everything our family of 5 needed to explore Kyoto. After remote check-in, I expected not to see staff around the hotel, but that wasn’t the case. They refreshed our trash and towels daily upon request, and someone was often at the front desk to assist. The auto lights in the entryway were a problem for us, as our daughters slept in the tatami room and were disturbed any time my husband and I walked to the kitchen/bathroom — but when I mentioned it to the front desk, they immediately sent someone up to tape off the sensors. Crisis averted! The location is wonderful for walking around Kyoto; great access to a grocery store, train, subway & bus lines, and the whole Gion district. Loved the inclusion of laundry detergent with the in-room washer & dryer, too!
Early check-in isn’t possible because it’s done remotely, but we were able to securely lock our bags and grab lunch while we waited until 3.

I like the kitchen and washing facilities so we could cook and eat in. Everything was clean and comfortable and well-equipped. It was my second stay at the property.
No reception to help forward my luggage so i had to get a taxi to Yamato. Luggage forwarding in the reason I choose a hotel but an Airbnb so this was disappointing
Very convenient location to city bus & train station. Decently spaced as well for a family of 3.
The futons didn’t seem very clean & there was a distinct smell when we entered the accomodation. Moreover, the front door isn’t passcode/ manned at all times so people can just come and go. There’s also a gap at the back of the library machine so things kept falling down there.

This place is amazing! We were so pleasantly surprised with the full living space - kitchen, living room, laundry. The spa is wonderful too. Super clean.
The only thing that could be better is to have someone at the front desk available for questions and help. Also no one told us to put trash outside the door, or that there was a video help tablet in the lobby until we checked out. It'd be great if all the important details could be explained at check in! Or have more visible signs at the desk.
