Pros:

Comfortable, clean and convenient. Had a really lovely chat with our host who was full of local recommendations and knowledge so tap into that if you’re spending time in the area! NB: the bathroom is shared between a few rooms; not at all an issue for us (and most people cleared off quickly for early flights etc) but if you are someone who enjoys spending an hour in the bathroom you may end up creating a queue!

Lokalizacja była świetna dla kogoś z samochodem, chociaż również w rozsądnej odległości był sklep i pub. Wyjątkowy gospodarz. Zawsze chętny do pomocy z olbrzymią wiedzą na tematy lokalne.

Oznaczenie wjazdu. Brak oznaczenia na zewnątrz budynku czy/i wjazdu na teren posesji.

Pros:

The communication with the host was amazing. Even though we have arrive unexpectedly late we were supported by the host. The room is just enough for the short stay but is relatively small. The bathroom is spacious and remains clean even though it is shared.

Pros:

We had a very spacious room with very comfortable beds. Hosts very welcoming and friendly, giving us advice for things to do. My son really enjoyed petting the friendly dog. A short trip to Dublin airport. Very good price.

Cons:

Is was quite noisy at night, we could hear the people in the room above us talking and walking around, earplugs are useful.

Pros:

Distance to the airport, very friendly owner, room was very nice.

Cons:

There was just a shared bathroom. It was not announced and it was quite uncomfortable. But it was not the worst thing. We were in the room no. 1 (family room). The ceiling of the room is absolutely non-soundproof,so we listened to heavy hits of things and heavy stomping not only to 1 AM but also from half past six AM too. Really not good sleep.

Great place for a stopover
Pros:

Warm welcome, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Good location. Mary gave us great recommendations for dinner and local places to visit.

Cons:

Was quite hard to find. The directions when coming from the East meant we took a while to find it and drove straight past at first, having also already driven into another house with a pink door!

Pros:

The bed was the most comfortable bed I ever slept in! There was snacks in the room on arrival with water and tea/coffee facilities. We called the host to advise we wouldn’t be able to check in until midnight the host was so accommodating and left the keys in a lock box. Spoke to the host the next morning who was very helpful about where to visit locally. We stayed here after being at a concert in slane castle and it was only a few kilometres away would highly recommend.

Pros:

Mary and Val were the perfect hosts and certainly Val went out of his way to ensure my stay was most enjoyable - he is extremely knowledgeable about historical and cultural aspects of the region and also knows of some great pubs in the local area ! I would definitely stay at Acrewood again and hopefully in the not too distant future.

Excellent Stay!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. The house is beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable throughout. Mary was an outstanding host friendly and incredibly helpful. She provided excellent recommendations and shared great insights about the local area and must-see sights. She provided us with tea, coffee, fresh fruit, and biscuits. The shared bathroom was spacious and impeccably clean. I would highly recommend staying here.
