Hotel Aberdeen

Je ne me suis pas rendu dans l'hôtel Aberdeen, car j'ai reçu un appel téléphonique de Springfield USA et un courriel d'Expedia m'indiquant que l'hôtel ne pouvait plus me recevoir et qu'il fallait me relocaliser. En communiquant avec Expedia, on m'a dit de vive voix que l'hôtel fermait. J'ai donc cherché le plus vite possible un nouvel hôtel à Montréal. J'ai finalement été surpris, quelques heures plus tard, par un courriel et un texto d'un membre de l'hôtel Aberdeen m'indiquant la procédure pour m'installer à l'hôtel et dans ma chambre. Je ne sais pas qui a menti entre les deux, ni si j'ai été victime d'une tentative de fraude quelque part, mais je n'ai pas voulu perdre mon temps en cherchant à éclaircir la situation. Il me fallait un logement sûr à Montréal. J'ai donc effectué une nouvelle réservation. J'ai dormi ailleurs cette nuit-là, dans un autre hôtel trouvé en catastrophe, et je ne connaîtrai jamais le fin mot de l'histoire... Toujours est-il que je ne retenterai plus l'hôtel Aberdeen, pour éviter de me retrouver imbriqué dans une histoire pareille.

Centrally located

Likes: Centrally located. Steps from the Berri Uqam Metro station. Lobby and room has a modern design. Virtual client support easily accesible.
Dislikes: The building is unmarked, doesn't say Aberdeen Hotel anywhere. Except inside the lobby and room, the hotel is in need of freshening up.
There were no face cloths to shower, there were tiny ants coming from who knows where, the wall mounted TV had dangling wires, damaged bathroom wall, water damage on the kitchen ceiling. The window curtain/blinds weren't closing all the way down, so I had to place a bag in its place

Somewhat spacious room and close to lots of transit options, however the room looked half cleaned, there was ants in bathroom and bed. Lastly no fire alarm in the room, looks like it was removed.

No personnel at the arrival, all is made by phone. The smoke alarm beeped all night. For the price a breakfast should be included. Bathroom needs to be renovated properly. Nice big room very comfortable bed but the finition of the bathroom is badly done.

The bedroom was renovated which was good. The room looked clean, but i saw bed bugs during the morning. Not sure if they were there the whole time. The room was over priced given the location, and the facilties.

Bon rapport qualité-prix et proche de tout, à 2 pas du quartier des spectacles.

This is a hotel in the Latin Quarter of Montreal and everything around is just like near St Dennis str.
We had extremely noisy AirConditioning Unit that prevented us from sleeping because you can't open the window or do without AC. The bathroom was very small and not very nice, little bit dirty. Other than that for 3 days it was ok. No staff or service was used, everything was codes and we didn't have to talk to staff.

Good location, reasonable price.

There was no room service at all. The trash was not emptied at all during our entire 3-day stay.

We had ants coming into the room.

Will not recommend to others, not a good experience with the stay and also to reach the place . No information was given about the road closure to reach at front of the place. No lock to bathroom.
