Best to stay far away from this place
Pros:

Walking distance to Tumpak Sewu waterfall

Cons:

Lets start with the worst: we woke up with bed bugs bites. The place is dirty, shower drain was clogged up. Secondly, the place is run by children, who speak no english, don’t know anything and the owners themselves are incredibly unfriendly. When arrived, the real location of our cottage, turned out elsewhere. There was no one at the reception in first and after waiting , eventually the owners showed up, didnt even looked me in the eye and send me to a 10min walk elsewhere. There are no taxi’s around, no motorbike rentals, nothing. You stuck there and they cannot arrange anything for you. Im surprised how this place got this good of a rating in the first place.

Pros:

Super lage, zu fuß gibt es kaum eine nähere unterkunft zum tumpak sewu. (Ca 3 min)

Cons:

Es gab leider keine richtigen Möglichkeiten für Mittag- und Abendessen (nur instant nudeln) und das frühstück war dürftig.

Für eine Nacjt ok- Nähe zum Tumpak Sewu gut
Pros:

Betten sehr bequem. Grösse Zimmer gut. Hat sogar einen Wäscheständer (nach dem Wasserfall sehr wichtig), saubere Zimmer und Bettwäsche.

Cons:

Dafür, dass in Indonesien viel gelächelt wird, hält es sich die Gastfreundschaft sehr in Grenzen. Man wirkt als Gast überflüssig.
Bad kann man nicht lüften, entsprechend muffig ist es.

Super für eine Nacht um früh beim Tumpak Sewu Wasserfall zu sein
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist super für einen Besuch des Tumpak Sewu Wasserfalls. Man erreicht den Wasserfall zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten und kann somit früh vor den ganzen Touren dort sein.

Cons:

Wir hatten zwei Nächte gebucht, was ich nicht empfehlen würde, weil man nirgends im Ort einen Roller ausleihen kann. Gojek und Grab funktionieren hier auch nicht. Man ist daher sehr immobil. Taxi über die Unterkunft zum nächsten Bahnhof fanden wir im Vergleich zu anderen Taxifahrten in Indonesien etwas overpriced.

Cons:

Confortablement mais sans plus. Manque de meubles pour poser ses affaires. Petit déjeuner médiocre et personnel parlant à peine anglais

I had a lovely stay. Staff were nice and made my stay comfortable.

The road is very close. Lots of noisy trucks but it was quiet during the night.
