Fijn hotel op een leuke en levendige locatie
Pros:

Fijn hotel op een leuke en levendige locatie, met vriendelijke medewerkers. Kamer was prima, deze was recent gerenoveerd en ruim en comfortabel. Goed bed en mooie badkamer met fijne douche. Er is geen mogelijkheid voor ontbijt, maar nabij opties zat voor. Waren in Keulen voor de kerstmarkten dus het ontbreken van een airconditioning was ook geen probleem. De locatie is aan de rand van het centrum, temidden van winkels, restaurants en horeca. Zelfs wat discotheken om de hoek, maar hier geen overlast van gehad. Via een leuke wandeling langs winkels loop je vrij snel naar het centrum. De andere kant op waren er ook nog een paar kerstmarkten. Al met al een prettig verblijf voor een nette prijs.

Cons:

Geen eigen parkeergelegenheid, maar er zijn twee openbare parkeergarages vlakbij die ook niet zo duur zijn.

convenient location
Pros:

The people working are very kind and nice. Thankfully the second day I was transferred to another room which was way better (warmer, cleaner, bigger and much more comfortable). The location for me was very conveniet since I was there for work.

Cons:

On the first night, I stayed in a small room which didn't have heating. The heating and the aircondition machine didn't work both and the temperature of the room was approx. 14 degrees. The staff brought me a small electric heating device to warm the room and an extra duvet.

Schlimmstes Wochenende in meinem Leben
Cons:

Bei mir war sehr viel Baustellenlärm, dann hab ich das Zimmer gewechselt. Dann wurde ich abends angerufen, dass ich das Hotel wechseln muss. Dann hab ich das Hotel gewechselt. Dort war es sehr dreckig dann habe ich wieder ein anderes Apartment bekommen. Kein warmes Wasser Schamhaare auf der Toilette Herz komplett dreckig Zimmer halb auseinandergefallen mein Geld wiederhaben haben

Nice room, good location, friendly staff.
Pros:

Nice rooms, lovely staff, great location

Cons:

I was there for a week and would have loved to get clean towels after a few days. The staff told me that they usually don’t clean rooms during the stay because most people prefer privacy, which i can get on board with. But for seven days, it would have been nice to have my trash emptied and towels changed every 2/3 days.

I was expecting more...
Pros:

Location is good.

Cons:

Blinds were small, they didn't cover the entire window length!
There was no enough soap/shampoo/shower gel, and we just spent one night there.
Someone (drunk I assume) knocked at our bedroom door very early in the morning, it was a stressful situation.

Die Heizung im Zimmer wurde nicht warm. obwohl das Thermostat bis auf Stufe 5 / höchste Stufe aufgedreht war.

Good experience
Pros:

Great location, comfortable bed, nice space, I had to work from the hotel and I had a good desk and chair, good internet connection, good experience.

Cons:

I first tried to book Diamonds Hotel through HomeRent and I hated the experience and customer support. Then I gave up and did it instead through Booking and everything went very smooth.
During the week the hotel was very calm, on Friday it was more noisy
