Pros:

The staff was excellent. Everything is pretty basic, but that's what a budget motel should be. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because the non-smoking room smelled a bit like smoke. Otherwise it was just fine. Plus, it was only about 10-12 minutes, depending on traffic, from the French Quarter by car!

Pros:

Disgusting place of stay. We had to sleep on grocery bags on top of the covers. The sheets were mold stained and other unknown fluids. Burn holes everywhere all over the covers. I’m not one to complain but the bed was truly unreal. It is NASTY.

Clean but very dated.
Pros:

We were there for Super Bowl and unwilling to pay the extraordinarily high hotel price. So settled for this motel. It’s as clean as you could get it but very dated and 1970 comforters should go and mattress needs replaced as hard and makes noises. Well lit parking lot and clean outside. Brought own bedding and towels not knowing what to expect and it was great to have our own. Very friendly staff and cleaning crew.
