It was what i expected. We just need a place to sleep after the McHenry Festival.
It a hostile so the expectations were not high. The staff is responsive to calls and texts. Pillows and bedding could be more comfortable. Bathroom on my floor ran out of toilet paper by the morning from all the rooms sharing.
We booked a 2 bedroom & the room was 1 room w 2 beds. No refund was offered & we were comped a hostel room. Upon check in to the hostel room it was occupied. The hotel also will not refund the deposit without any response or explanation. They are being reported for theft.

The bar next door was nice.
The rooms were DIRTY. There was a giant stain on the pillow, a bug in the sheets, crumbs and dirt EVERYWHERE. Not to mention the seat was stained up with who knows what. I reached out to the hotel about the state of the bathrooms with absolutely no soap or towels and nothing was fixed despite them telling us they would address it.
The location was great. Nice and quiet. The price was great.
The property was very outdated. It had no mirrors. There were a lot of weeds going up the stairs. Some windows had no curtains. There was no showerhead and the house could use a little bit more cleanup.

This property is false advertising. This property was nothing like was posted on their website. We stayed 5 minutes and left and went elsewhere. This place was dirty. Dirty pillows, missing light bulbs, large bug crawling on the floor. A college dorm room would be a lot bigger than this. No bathroom in the room. No one on staff there. Everything has to be done by email. I expect a full refund. This place is a dump!

They didn't honor my handicap request for a bottom floor they said they had two rooms and to take my pick I get there I'm in a wheelchair I can't get up three flights of stairs I didn't even go inside the room and I'm so disappointed they said it was because of third party and they could not give me my money back therefore I would never use them again
Outside is a beautiful view of Nippersink Lake
Inside, it's a rundown old building with my single room the size of closet. One public shared bathroom to possibly catch any number of diseases. Missing light bulbs, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, floors were chipped and dirty, and part of the wall peeling off above the heat register. It was such a sh!thole I spent exactly 5 minutes there. Enough time to take pictures of the room that I will be sharing online and got the hell out of there!

The photos are completely fake and make the rooms look so much larger than they actually are. Absolutely would not reccomend.

It felt like I was in a Friday the 13th movie
It was not very clean only 2 towels no room in the rooms other than a bed and ac. No toilet paper in the shared bathroom. The cover under the sheets had a bunch of fuss on it cause the blanket was probably older than my grandma.
