This is more of a business conference hotel so everybody is very professional. Hotel is clean with very nice bed and rooms are nice size. It is about 5 minute drive to boat launch for Crescent Island and about 30 mins to Hells Gate NP entrance (both highly recommended). We arrived at lunch and were checked in, then we went to Crescent Island and spent all afternoon there plus the boat ride for an hour. Following day we checked out but left luggage at Hotel and visited Hells Gate with hike to the gorge (had amazing guide James Lekirekisho from the gorge community office). The staff at the hotel is amazing, buffet food was very good and plenty. If you like a full board arrangement, this is a great choice in the area.
Everything was great. Fan in the room would be nice during hot weather but it cools down at night.
Great if you are looking for a conference hotel (we were not at the conferences).
On arrival there was no room for us. We had to hang around in reception and were eventually told our room was being cleaned and then later that it was still wet.
Later again, it transpired (as we were one of several) that it was double booked.
Although the next excuse was that the
guest refused to leave.
After some time hanging in reception we were given a room at an Airbnb some way off. It was not what we expected or wanted.
The hotel was hosting 6 conferences.
We realise now that is a hotel more for this purpose. Not leisure and not peaceful.
Our plans then changed
The entire staff is kind and helpful. The room is great, clean, and very spacious. Thank you again for answering all our questions, organising the game drive to Nakuru with John and the breakfast box.
Breakfast is good and offers many salty options. If you are more fan of sweets, there are fewer options.
A couple of misunderstandings when we weren't too angry, ordered only one plate to share and got one plate each. Also got charged for some fruits as a desert that we never ordered , but since they were already prepared, we ate them

Very friendly, helpful manager and staff. Excellent customer service. The food was great and the chef cooked the food to my preference and diet. Comfortable bed with premium bed linen and room very clean. Our 4x4 was washed and cleaned every day. Happy to be returning customers.

The breakfast was nicely spread. My only comment regarding an improvement is the food wasn't hot enough. Maybe they should look at improving the burners.

We got threatened by the staff Nyambura infront of the kids. She demanded that the app had undercharged us and given a lower price. They refused us to occupy the 3rd room and had to cancel our family because of her peculiar behaviour. The website clearly allowed us to book the room for £64 but she stated on arrival that we needed to pay 1400ksh per night each room. That’s almost triple what the website had quoted.
She threaten to call the police and security and remove us from the room if we didn’t pay the extra money. We clearly explained to her that if the app charged us less it’s not our mistake rather she should sort it with her staff and booking.com. I call this greediness of money and very incompetent manager. I have travelled to so many countries and stayed in many hotels but I have never been threatened to add more money than what was quoted online. She spoilt our Christmas mood and never will I ever book this hotel neither refer it to anyone. Be weary of characters like her she lacks management skills and human in her.
There’s no sofa or comfortable chairs in the room you can only sit on the bed to feel comfortable.
No kids or adult activities
No swimming pool no Bath tub
A lot of echo you can hear next doors conversation
Only two pillows on the bed.
No cot beds available only one so if you have kids who needs a cot bed it’s hard to get one.
No kettle in the room neither any welcome pack like tea bag.
Bathroom and toilet are in one room it gets a bit messy
Hot shower was variable
The beds are excellent. However, in the afternoon the room was hot as the building did not have enough options for natural ventilation, not an air-conditioning. We had to open both the window and the door.
It looks like a dormitory. The property could have been designed better, like the other hotels, with a bit of a resort concept, and so is the landscaping. The hotel is still under construction works.
The staff was very good and and responsive
They helped in every way they could do amd was polite

They didnt have much guess at the time i was there but they managed to still do the buffet breakfast,
The hotel os new and building some pool at the backyard
