Ruhige Gartenoase
Pros:

Wir hatten eine eigene kleine Hütte und Terrasse und haben auf einen schön angelegten Garten geschaut.
Gutes, großes Moskitonetz. Klimaanlage.
Ruhige Lage mit Ausblick vom Frühstücksbereich. Etwas außerhalb von Upuvelli, eigenes Gefährt war sehr praktisch.
Es hat uns gut gefallen, dass unsere Unterkunft außerhalb des Trubels war, wir haben noch 2 Nächte verlängert.
Der Preis war sehr gut.

Cons:

Sehr freundliches Personal (Familienunternehmen), leider konnte der junge Mann, der immer hier war, kein Englisch. Mit der Besitzerin, die immer mal wieder hier war, konnten wir sehr gut kommunizieren.

Pros:

Simple and cosy rooms, private, mosquito net, great air conditioning. The gardens were really lovely and peaceful. They were kind enough to accept my last-minute booking.

Cons:

Not enough blankets. Staff didn’t speak much English. Location is about 350m into a rough gravel road which is hard for tuk tuks (but it’s nice and quiet). Mould in the bathroom. Could do with some soundproofing. Come prepared with cash to pay for the room (no EFTPOS).

Unfortunately it was disappoiting.
Pros:

The room was decent and had AC.

Cons:

The location is wrong and misleading. The location on booking.com is incorrect, it’s in fact 15 minutes walk further away from the beach and difficult to find. The road is unsafe as it is unlit with barking guard dogs at night. The staff were clueless - when asked if we could check out late, they said that was fine no problem, and then slapped us with a 4000LKR surcharge before leaving! Finally there was mould in the bathroom and no sheet on the bed.

We enjoyed the hotel stay.
Pros:

The food was truly delicious and worth for our
stay.Everything was amazing, room,,garden,out door,beautiful sunset and sun rise.Friendly room boy.we were able to walk just up the road to see the beach. Worth for money.We will be back
