Lovely accommodation in Galle, lots of wildlife (chipmunks, peacocks, a family of monkeys!), and supermarkets and a fruit market just up the road. I stayed here as a medical student while doing my medical elective at Galle National Hospital, which is a 20-25 minute walk away. My room was lovely, it had AC, a double bed with a mosquito net, desk and chair, mini fridge and a small balcony! There is a water dispenser for drinking water in the reception area as well.
The hospitality at Galle Camellia is unmatched. The host, Garmini, was incredibly kind and helpful, and gave me his WhatsApp number so I could contact him if I needed anything. You can ask for breakfast/dinner for a small charge - they cook incredible food, and I was often given dinner for free, with small desserts as well!
It’s a little off the beaten path, but very easy to get to Galle Central Bus station (next to Galle Fort) with the bus or a taxi.
The only thing that could be improved would be the cleaning of the surfaces/the floor in the room, I wiped these down when I arrived, but the bedsheets and towels were all fresh.
Gamini, the Manager IS always so helpful! Whatever you need, a tuk tuk or other advice for travel or Shopping..he knows and helped me immediately. Great room with balcony and nice Pool. Peacocks and Monkeys nearby. Great stay. Look Forward to come Back again. S.

Fuori dalla confusione del centro di Galle ma con Tuk Tuk si arriva a Galle fort in 10 minuti e con costo molto basso.
Possibilità di lasciare auto nel cortile se si arriva con propria auto.

La piscine est très agréable, les parties communes sont immenses et très appréciables.
Frigo et clim dans la chambre sont très pratiques.

He was super friendly and welcoming! You get free coffee and tea, and he really goes out of his way to make sure you feel comfortable. The place is very clean and there’s plenty of space to relax and spread out. There’s also a nearby bus that takes you straight to the old town. Highly recommended!
Un accueil exceptionnel, Gamini a été aux petits soins tout au long de notre séjour. On arrive à la fin de nos 3 semaines au Sri Lanka, et Gamini a été de loin l'hôte le plus agréable.
L'hébergement était super, un peu éloigné du fort mais en 15min en tuktuk. Super rapport qualité prix.
On a fait une machine, un gros sac pour 1200roupies.

Don't book or go to this place. They spoil your trip. Not a suitable place.
One of the nicest places we stayed in Sri Lanka. Apart from a minor aircon issue the first night it was great. Comfy beds, great shower , the pool was great. The host was very helpful and the breakfast was just what we needed.
