Better than all my other stays in Durban.
Pros:

Restaurants and the comrades finish line was few meters away.

Cons:

Parking space seems to be an issue due to the construction, hopefully there's a plan for that since more capacity is expected in the future.

To be honest, it was very disappointing and far below our expectations.
Pros:

The location in Florida Road for its proximity to clubs and restaurants, and closer to other places of interest.

Cons:

It was very sour to be told on arrival that our booking was without breakfast when it was never mentioned in any booking confirmation. This affected our budget drastically.
The reception area was dull and unappealing. The usage of stairs instead of elevators to access upper floors was surprising. There were no twin beds in the rooms even though we indicated when booking that we were coming with children.

Pros:

Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff.
Attention to detail when cleaning the room.
The style of the hotel and room is very appealing.
Laundry service was excellent.

Cons:

Cracked TV screen.
Outdated TV so I could not even cast from my phone.
Very Limited TV channels.
Fridge was too small to keep food in.

Pros:

Clean and well run; comfortable; excellent breakfasts; friendly, responsive service.

Cons:

A bit tired - needs a repaint internally and carpets refreshed. Noisy location but that can’t be helped

Very spacious rooms, comfortable linen and very helpful staff

Cons:

While the signs clearly indicate no smoking in the rooms, my room stank of cigarette smoke. Not the hotel’s fault, just unfortunate.

Was a lovely stay
Pros:

1. The family room is spacious
2. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel is now owned by Muslims so the food is halal which is a huge plus
3. The hotel is located in a very convenient location close to the ocean and close to many halal restaurants a walk away.
4. The staff are friendly and very helpful

Cons:

1. The room needs a thorough clean especially the carpets need a deep clean
2. The toilet flushing sounds like a train is running through the room- it is so so loud.
3. After flushing the pipes make a sound similar to an alarm.
4. 3 towels and 2 bottles of water are not sufficient for a family room for 4 - however this was resolved.
5. The concierge told us to call him should we need anything however the phone in our room did not work.
