Authentic Albanian Hospitality Experience
Pros:

Although we only spent one night at Hotel Montflux, it was more than enough to experience the essence of genuine Albanian hospitality. The hotel, which opened just last year, boasts a stunning design with meticulous attention to detail. Accessible via a long alley, it features a spacious parking area and a delightful children's play area. It is located in a countryside setting, just a five-minute walk from the old Mesi Bridge and about a 20-minute drive from Shkodër Castle—both must-see attractions.
The charming terrace is perfect for enjoying breakfast or evening drinks, creating a lovely atmosphere. The lobby, bar, breakfast area, and rooms are impeccably clean, ensuring a pleasant stay. We appreciated the complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, and excellent heating, which enhanced our experience.
I must emphasize the incredible kindness of our hosts, who were genuinely attentive to our needs. Their warm hospitality made our experience truly unforgettable. Our first Albanian breakfast will forever be etched in our memories. They offered us an impressive array of treats—so abundant that they only paused when there was no more room left on our table! Everything was fresh, including some delicious kaki fruits. My wife enjoyed them so much that when we left, they gifted her a bag to take with us. That’s the essence of Albanian hospitality!

Pros:

The hotel was immaculate with good finishes. The staff were really helpful and friendly, Arsir came out to greet us at the car with an umbrella in the rain and helped with our cases!
The breakfast was amazing too!

The shower was compact but had everything needed

Nice & modern hotel close to Mesi bridge
Pros:

Nice and modern hotel, friendly staff, clean and well-sized room, a stocked-up minibar (items need to be purchased separately). Convenient late check-in times. Very close to the Mesi bridge.

Cons:

The only (minor) inconvenience was the rather small bathroom.

Absolutely Lovely spot outside Shkoder
Pros:

Fantastic stay. Beautiful modern hotel outside the city center. Lovely quiet views, lots of parking space. Right by the bridge and not far from the venetian mask museum.

Cons:

A bit difficult without a car, and the drive into the city center slightly longer than appeared on map. So better if you plan on heading towards Theth.
No elevator if that is a deal breaker for you.
But all in all was really lovely.

Super schönes neues Hotel an der historischen Brücke
Pros:

Da ich etwas außerhalb von Shkodra übernachten wollte, fand ich dieses neue schöne Hotel. Die Einrichtung ist sehr hochwertig und luxuriös. Ich wurde vom Hotelmanager persönlich empfangen und mir wurden meine Sachen bis zum Zimmer gebracht. Die Angestellten strahlen eine Freude aus, hier zu arbeiten. Sehr erholsamer Schlaf, da rundherum Ruhe und sogar Blick zu den Bergen.

Cons:

Leider war für mich nichts passendes am Frühstücksbuffet, so dass ich es außerhalb einnahm.
