Called in for coffees and charged a service charge so 2 coffees £11. That is so much and I’d rather carry my own drinks from the bar to the table for that price added
A beautiful hotel, fabulously decorated with a lovely feel.
Beautiful surroundings, attentive staff with no exceptions, amazing food and a luxury room.
The outside space , and both restaurants
Found the front bedrooms very noisy with road traffic, and raised voices
Great location. Comfortable rooms and very clean
Slightly over priced for two nights. Staff a bit disorganised at first day breakfast but had improved on the second day - suspect more than one person made comments to them. Bar prices increasing and far more expensive than anywhere else in lymington.
Beautiful room and bathroom
Nothing
the restaurant was comfortable and the menus very good. the outside areas were spacious and well kept.
for people with limited mobility some of the rooms would be difficult to access.
Six of dined here to belatedly celebrate my Birthday with their free champagne! The restaurant ambience was lovely. Four of us enjoyed their new Set Menu. I had Samphire followed by Scallops and Fries and another had Fish Pie. Service was excellent. We’ll be back.
Helpful efficient recommended
Strong candle perfumes a bit much for me
This was a return visit for us, and once again the hotel didn’t disappoint. It’s beautifully decorated — stylish, warm and instantly welcoming.
Every member of staff was fantastic, from a thoughtful pre-visit phone call to a friendly check-in and brilliant service in the Salt Bar, where they even created custom cocktails for me. The bed was incredibly comfortable — one of the best we’ve slept in! It’s also the little things like a nice warm room with the radio on to welcome you, and a little note from the person who made up your room. It doesn’t go unnoticed.
Food was fresh and great quality, and the hotel is exceptionally dog friendly, which we really appreciate - a particular mention of the fact our dog was greeted by name as we arrived. Nice touch! A consistently wonderful experience and we are already planning our return stay!
Great hotel and located on the high street with immediate access to shops and facilities
Was not happy with the hotel adding a 10% ‘discretionary’ charge to the room rate. Never experienced this before and having to ask reception to remove it took away from a lovely few days away
