Nothing
Absoutley horrible expirenence we were refused access to have our own rooms. Me and my grandson wanted to stay at this hotel for a few nights away. He was denied access to his own room as he was under age. He is 13 and is a growing person he certainly doesnt want to share with me because we both want privacy. Apparently it was the law that he couldnt but that was a lie and then proceeded to say that it was their policy instead but that was not clearly stated anywhere. We were never told or asked of any ages during the booking process. On the website where you can book a room it says adults ages 13 and above. We then told them and she said it was due to dinner menus but thats judt an excuse it said adults: 13 and above on when selecting people in rooms. They were making lots of excuses and let us down alot. We then found a hotel after that let him stay in his own room and we enjoyed that alot more. We have stayed in mutiple hotels on the IOW and the mainland and we have never found this case. And when telling about this to mutiple friends they had never heard about such thing. This was very upsetting and we will not return. The recpetionist lady was very patronising and was making up quite a few of different excuses starting from it being agaisnt the law then once we proved wrong she turned it was policy. Very frustatred.
Beautiful hotel. The room was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. I would love to know where they get their pillows!
Food was superb and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. Loved our stay
Absolutely nothing!
Good location and the room was comfortable and had everything we expected provided.
The bar was cosy.
The restaurant was light and airy.
The food at dinner and breakfast was good.
The service was a bit slow and the staff were not forthcoming with information about the breakfast menu and we had to ask to have this clarified.
Additionally, not proactive in offering to clear a table when I asked if the table by the window was free when the only other table in that space was reserved.
The service in the bar was rather slow when we ordered two pots of tea.
Beautiful decor & stylish throughout this wonderful boutique hotel. We were pleased to enjoy a very comfortable & and spacious, immaculately furnished bedroom, delicious food & exceptional customer service! What a treat & we'd
love to return - I would highly recommend it for a romantic getaway! Location is perfect for exploring the new forest & coastline at new Milton.

Perfect location in the middle of lymington high street, beautiful room, superb staff team and amazing food,
We had two evening meals as well and were looked after in every way!
That we couldn’t stay longer! Life and work beckons 😔
Location was great. Room was lovely.
Some noise outside the bedroom door in the morning, presumably staff getting things out of a cupboard.
The hotel was stunning, the room was luxurious and the staff were genuinely pleasant and helpful.
Nothing to improve on thoroughly enjoyed my stay here
Decor and room comfort
Parking too far. Restaurant service slow
Dinner was excellent
Small room above the bar and on a very busy road. Tiny bathroom
We recently visited the restaurant for dinner. Superb scallops and moules. Lovely service - very knowledeable about the plates of food and friendly. One small piece of feedback to the hotel - if it's policy to not leave the wine bottle on a customer's table, staff need to be super attentive to replenish. We were left with empty glasses on a couple of occassions. This was not the fault of the staff as it was a busy service, but maybe you could give the customer the option of retaining the wine so this does not happen during a busy service.
Very clean, friendly and comfortable!
Door knob fell off door when we first opened it 🤣
Excellent breakfast, great choices and value
Varied main meal menu.
Bright and well furnished rooms
Comfy beds
Main meal was good but food was not as hot as I would expect.
I was not aware (as booked via Booking.com and not direct), that there is a 10% discretionary service charged added to the bill…
Never seen this before and I’m not sure how many guests would look in the T&C’s of the website to find this… Bit naughty and should be more visible when booking,
