Nulla
Quasi tutto
Nothing
No Windows
Room very small
Mattress horrible
No reception
Noise all night ( no able to sleep )
Difficult to find the address as there is another mandarin hotel in Yerevan
The room was so clean that my white socks didn’t even get slightly dirty when I walked barefoot. The dishes and glasses were spotless. After taking a bath, I used my foot to push the water toward the drain, so the floor dried quickly, and I didn’t have to deal with a wet bathroom. However, as usual, I forgot to bring rubber slippers, and I didn’t want to use wet ones after bathing. When I asked for an extra pair, they immediately provided me with several!
Some parts of the ceiling were a bit low, but I was careful. They had also placed soft foam padding on the edges to minimize injury if bumped, though I never hit my head during my three-day stay. The bed could have been more comfortable, and while the blanket seemed clean, I prefer using my own during trips. I placed the hotel’s blanket under my bed sheet, which made the bed much cozier.
As mentioned in other reviews, the walls were thin. However, at night, I turned on the heater, which emitted a steady hum that masked neighbor noises and didn’t disturb my sleep. The stay was absolutely worth the price.
The location was excellent. I enjoyed 15-minute walks to Republic Square and nearby museums. The U.S. embassy was 15 minutes away by car. I didn’t encounter any traffic on the way, even though it was raining. Grocery stores and bakeries were close by, though I had brought my own food and stored it in the refrigerator. As a solo female traveler, I never felt unsafe, neither in the hotel nor in the city. Police presence was noticeable everywhere!
Before booking, I did extensive search, and I’m very happy with my choice. My priorities, safety, cleanliness, affordability, facilities, and location were all fully met.
They welcomed me the night before, but an hour before arriving at the hotel they told me that unfortunately we are unable to provide a room on this date and you can go to another hotel!!!!
If you are tall or claustrophobic do not book room 3 - the ceilings are low ,the room is small and there is no window. Nevertheless the place has a certain quirky charm and I enjoyed staying here. The hostess was pleasant and the room was clean and catered to all my needs .It is difficult to find without precise directions (which did eventually arrive) as no-one in the area is aware of its existence . The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and I kept hitting my head on the reinforcement strut which runs through the room and into the bathroom.
The room was nice and comfortable for two people. Even though it didn’t have a window, we were still okay with it. I really appreciated Mari, she was very welcoming, accommodating, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location was also convenient, just about 10 minutes from Republic Square. There’s a washing machine available outside, free to use, along with complimentary detergent. One small suggestion: adding a small mirror would be helpful, especially for ladies. We’d definitely come back and choose to stay at Mari’s apartment again.
