Hotel was adequate—dinner good
Pros:

When we checked out we could not get an early breakfast—this was originally offered but then withdrawn as we left on a Sunday.

Cons:

No snacks when we wanted to have a drink in the bar in the evening.

A very comfortable one night stay enroute to the Berneray ferry.
Pros:

Good choice; nicely cooked breakfast. Service was good for both dinner and breakfast the next morning. Location was fine.

Cons:

We were only there one night and didn’t experience any problems.

Friendly staff and the food was outnof this world. Stayed in all the islands and this place was the best. From when we checked in until we left, we couldn't fault it.

The food was unbelievable, especially the scallops amd black pudding starter and sausage and mash.

Think any poor reviews are done by rival hotels. Worth the trip for the food alone

The fact we only stayed 1 night. Wish it had been more

Would happily stay at the Hamada’s again. Staff were hard working, professional and helpful.

It's an ok place to stay but they have to improve the service offering

Perfectly OK food
Comfortable bedrooms

Cons:

Decent enough property but only one person servicing everything (reception, bar, waiting tables) which was poor
Bedroom nice but the scalding/ice shower was rubbish
Heating had been left on - crazy hot
Suspect that margins are tight so they can't afford to provide the right amount of staff

Food was first class, and I would stay there again
Pros:

Very comfortable room and public areas

Cons:

The only issue I had was with the quality of the housekeeping. Bins were not emptied for three days, and beds not made.
