La seule déception de notre voyage au Nicaragua
Pros:

Nous avions réservé 4 habitations pour toute notre famille, à notre arrivée, on nous annonce que seulement trois étaient disponibles — première déconvenue.
Sur le papier, les petites cases colorées semblaient originales et sympathiques, mais les photos ne reflètent pas vraiment la réalité.
Les chambres sont beaucoup plus petites, sans climatisation (seulement des ventilateurs).
La salle de bain extérieure offre une eau de douche froide, et aucun service de chambre n’est assuré : les lits ne sont pas refaits quotidiennement.
Le petit-déjeuner est très moyen, sans choix, et le lieu est envahi de moustiques.
Seuls points positifs : Maisons très joliment peintes à l’extérieur, une piscine agréable et un jardin très bien entretenu.

Generally loved the peace and location. Not sure I would recommend to overseas tourists
Pros:

The staff were nice and tried with Google translate. Comfortable bed, loved the outdoor bathroom, (reminded me of the Maldives but not a big fan of the cold water), pretty settings, pool was lovely and the location didn’t bother us as we walked in and back from town easily or had trips with pick up pre-booked

Cons:

We were both ill with upset stomachs. We don’t know but possibly from the hotel not using bottled water? Also Booking says it includes breakfast but that apparently was only fruit? At no point did Maria tell us that the cooked breakfast was not included in the rate. We were forcing the breakfast down as we thought it was included and definitely wouldn’t have taken if we had known. Managed to negotiate and paid an additional £16 for 2x4 breakfasts

The manageress was an absolute sweetheart. She could not have done enough to make us feel happier or more at home
Pros:

It was an oasis in the middle of a busy city. Very pretty and clean.

Cons:

Nothing. Would love to return for a few nights. Unfortunately we were just passing through to transfer to El Salvador

I arrived and was told that the hotel was closed.
Cons:

I arrived at the hotel and there was no one around. I knocked on the door and eventually a staff member came and I was told that the hotel was closed because of roadworks, even though I had just driven there. The staff said they had told booking.com that I couldn't stay but they didn't contact me. I then had to find another hotel but due to the late booking there was not much choice and the rooms were expensive.

Worst Nightmare and dangerous

The pictures show a different story but the actual is different.

Cons:

When I went to the property I found there was no proper road to the property, my taxi driver dropped me off 100 meters away, had to walk which was also very difficult. Once I reached the property there was no one checked in the property and is located in residential area with no access to any restaurants or shops. Getting a taxi was a nightmare. The rooms were very open for bugs and mosquitoes to be part of you all the time. It was very dangerous to stay there and when I asked the hotel to cancel my reservations, they said she cannot and talk to Booking.com and when I reached out to booking.com they said they cannot do that. Both the parties were fooling me. I had to vacate the property in a day as it was not at all safe. I strongly recommend not to choose this property.

Place of tranquility with a congenial host
Pros:

I loved the quiet space and comfortable atmosphere of Hotel Mariposa. Ana is probably… no, for sure the most accommodating host you’ll meet. She puts your needs above her own to make sure you have a pleasant stay. I spent two weeks enjoying my own private space, a comfortable bed, outdoor showers, and a great pool that was cleaned daily. Good place for peace of mind.

Friendly staff , the hotel atmosphere

Cons:

I payed a certain amount of money for a room that had air conditioning but when I arrived at the place the room I got did not have air conditioning. So then I had to pay extra for air conditioning which was about $65 extra on top of what I payed.is not fair because online it said all rooms have air conditioning.could be

Amazing hospitality and a cute boutique hotel just outside of the hustle and bustle of Leon downtown.
Pros:

Very cozy and safe. Cute setup and excellent staff. Made us feel right at home after a long, stressful drive. Marta was so accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. Laundry service, called in pizza delivery for us. It was nice to feel taken care of, like we were with our mom’s house after a long, stressful day.
