Good hotel at a sensible price. Good breakfast.
Pros:

I have been going there for 22 years. I am familiar with it and so know what to expect.
I think the breakfast has improved a lot.
The mattresses are now more confortable.

Cons:

Polish pillows instead of Western European/US style. It’s a personal preference for more substantial pillows.
I don’t like the way that all the guests are given adjacent rooms when the hotel is not full. The sound insulation is not great and spreading guests out across the hotel, when it is not busy, would be sensible for good sleep and privacy. Being near the reception means that all human traffic passes your door like loud noisy elephants.
This hotel could be a 9.0 on Booking.com and not 8.0 with some modest thought about room allocations. Keeping families away from couples and solo guests for example, would be a start.

Pros:

Lovely recently modernised hotel, lady on front desk with blonde short hair was incredibly polite and helpful and other staff happy and available whenever. Room was immaculate and had a cot ready for my little one. Breakfast was great and service was brilliant.
