Disappointing accommodation in such a lovely location

A great location .

Cons:

Very tired hotel in need of significant updating.Breakfast was not very good and not good value for money.Pictures of property nothing like the reality of the state of the building.

It’s very peaceful and the owner is very helpful
Pros:

The location is very good. The owner is friendly, helpful and genuinely welcoming. It’s truly peaceful. The people on Iriomote island are relaxed and friendly.

Cons:

It is remote and you really need a hire car. The dinner portions could be a little larger. The rooms could be updated a bit more (however they are fine for the style & location of trip).

友人の紹介で利用。
とても親切な方々でひとり旅の不安は一切なし。
今回は、星を観る目的もありこの宿にしたが、建物屋上にハンモックがあり、夜中何度も通って存分に星を眺めることができた。オーナーから天の川を観ることができると教えてもらい流れ星とともに実際に観れた。
夕食付きではなかったが、チェックインの時に夕飯を食べることと時間を伝え、時間になったら食堂へ行きいろいろあるメニューから選べる。どれも丁寧に作られたもので美味。
朝食は、コーヒーがアイスもホットもあり。牛乳があったのでカフェラテがいただけてとても嬉しかった。
立地含め申し分のない宿。この島に来るときは必ずお世話になろうと決めている。

Cons:

Wi-Fiがつながりにくいこと。とはいえ、西表島では電波がつながりにくく電話も聞き取りにくいこともあり。想定内。
このことはまだこちらが気付かないうちにスタッフさんが教えてくれた。その上でフロントだと繋がりやすいとアドバイスもらえたので、不安はなかった。

日常を忘れて心から癒される旅

海に面した家族経営のプチホテルです。ロケーションは素晴らしく、オーナーやスタッフの温かい笑顔にいつも癒されます。お食事は素朴ながらどれも美味しく、心がほっとする味わいです。
大規模なリゾートホテルのように人工的ではなく、手付かずの自然に囲まれていて、他のお客さまと顔を合わせることもほとんどありません。そのため、静かにゆったりと過ごしたい私たちには最適な場所です。
夫婦で今回が3回目の利用でしたが、「毎年一度は必ず訪れよう」と決めています。
星空や沈む夕日、海に浮かびながら見上げる大空――雄大な自然の中にいると、「自分の悩みなんて本当にちっぽけだな」と感じさせられます。
ぜひ一度、訪れてみてください。

思った以上にとても素敵で良かった。次は、連泊してゆっくり過ごしてみたいと思った。
Pros:

アットホームな感じで、皆さんの対応がとても感じよかった。食事も美味しかった。最新のリゾートホテルでは得られない、温かい時間を過ごせた。ビーチも近くて星もきれいで最高だった。

施設は新しいわけではない。が、清潔感があるのでそこは大目にみたい。

忘れられない思い出
Pros:

ビーチにすぐ出て散歩したり泳いだり、夜は星空を眺めたり、朝も夜もとても美味しいお食事をいただきました。

オーナーさん、従業員さんたちのおもてなしがとても優しかったです。連泊しましたが、タオルやアメニティを補充してくださいました。

たまたまかもしれませんが近くで民謡を演奏しているグループがあったようで、夕方その調べを聞きながら過ごす時間も忘れがたいです。
