We really enjoyed this location. First of all, we were very impressed by the warm and friendly staff at the reception. They welcomed us with great care and hospitality, and we truly felt at home.

Our room was also wonderful - we got a corner room with a great view, windows in the bathroom, two more windows in the bedroom, and a balcony. There was so much space, which is something you don’t often find these days. We really appreciated that.

There’s also a restaurant with the same name as the hotel, where we had dinner together. The food was great and the prices were very reasonable. The menu is only in Bulgarian, but there is free Wi-Fi available in the restaurant, so you can easily translate it. That was very helpful.

The only small downside was the noise from the restaurant. But we didn’t mind too much - it ended around midnight, and we understood that it was just a one-time event. It happened to be a Wednesday evening with a live singer and many guests. In the end, it was even interesting to watch the performance and see how people enjoy their time with their families. It felt warm and lively.

Despite a long day of travel - we had just driven from the Albanian mountains - we still managed to rest well and enjoy our stay fully. We highly recommend this place.

There is also private parking available, which is very convenient if you’re traveling by car.
And a big plus - the Wi-Fi works well throughout both the hotel and the restaurant.

The Hotel has a really good traditional restaurant, which is very busy weekends, so you should reserve a table, plus if you want breakfast then ask on arrival. The owner is really helpful but doesn't speak English, however the restaurant staff we met were fluent in English. The hotel and restaurant are right in the centre of old Berkovitsa. Very friendly hotel personal. Girl from reception welcome us outside when we come late on motorcycles 👌 It was really nessesary, but it was very nice 😉 Sad that didn't asked her hame.
