Good value for money.
Pros:

Great location, good shower, comfortable bed, superb view of the castle and the bay.

Cons:

Staff at reception continually changed. No warm welcome and very brief interactions.
On a hill so not suitable for those who are unfit.

Excellent location, nice hotel. Great value for money.
Pros:

The staff could not do enough. A chosen upgrade on the room allocated to us was worth the extra money. The views were stunning. Highly recommend requesting a room with a sea view.

Cons:

The road up to the accommodation, it is extremely tight! Although after a few times of manoeuvring, it wasn’t that bad.

Fantastische Lage und toller Ausblick- einfach großartig 🤩

Cons:

Es gibt keinen Minikühlschrank, was für ein 4Sterne Hotel eher ungewöhnlich ist, und wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht, da wir gerne Abends auf dem Balkon sitzen wollten und dort auch eine Zigarette rauchen wollten. Rauchen ist aber auf allen Balkonen verboten- soweit okay, aber das hätten wir gerne früher gewusst.

A revisit after 20 years
Pros:

Elevated views over St Aubin’s Bay, modernised and cleanliness of the hotel, and helpful staff. Good location to visit the rest of the island.

Cons:

Access road to the hotel is on a dangerous bend with an acute angled slip road. Had to enter and leave from the north. Saw a near accident when a taxi tried to turn right when leaving. You definitely need transport if staying here.

Some very good points and some very bad points
Pros:

Room 22 was beautiful with stunning views. The food was amazing. Best chips I’ve ever tasted. Both receptionists were very helpful

Cons:

Room 101 was not as comfortable. The telephone didn’t work, there was no socket next to bed ( to charge phone) and the balcony was so tiny it only fitted 1 chair. , although it was classed as a family room!

Zeer naar tevredenheid in dit hotel verbleven.
Pros:

Service van het personeel. Locatie van het hotel is schitterend. Fijn zwembad.

Cons:

Helaas zijn de deurdrangers op de kamerdeuren heel sterk afgesteld. Hierdoor irritant lawaai wanneer gasten deuren zonder controle dicht lieten vallen.
