Our sister venue The Echuca Hotel hosts public events throughout the year eg; New Years Eve, Southern 80 ski race, Winter Blues Festival, Riverboats, AFL Grand Final, plus various live music acts on Fridays & Saturdays. Please keep that in mind when planning your stay as the music can run late into the evenings. Cons:

There was an extremely terrible and strong sulphur/gas smell that seemed to be attempted to be covered up/masked by some vanilla/toilet room spray… really flared up my asthma and was not nice at all. Seemed to be from the bathroom as when we opened the bathroom door in the morning the smell got more intense.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Pros:

Excellent position convenient to river and many eating options

Cons:

Mattresses a bit soft. No bedside table and lamp in smaller bedroom. Table and chairs for four people would be good.

Pros:

Location was exceptional for local shops, restaurants and paddle steamer. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and beautifully situated looking over the river. Staff were professional and friendly. A great overall experience.

Everything was fine except the band noise.

Great locatioj but disapointed
Pros:

The location was great. We were room 12, tucked away around the corner over looking the river. Within walking distance to everything touristy.

Cons:

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. In oarticular the smaller one. It was sunken in the middle and you can feel the springd through it. The unit was very unclean. Mould in bathroom and on the blinds in the smaller room, dirty walls, dust everywhere. Dirt and grime build up on window sills, cupboard tracks, the air con remote - overall a very dirty room. The TV didnt work because the remote control was broken.

We were in the motel rooms not the new apartments: location is great the local pub great. Everything was great except the walls are not soundproof in the motel rooms : could hear TV from room next door and snoring 😴:

Comfortable and well equipped.
Pros:

Beautiful room and facilities

Cons:

Saturday night stay? Very noisy at pub in front of it till 1am. Wasn’t great for us oldies but young people may like it. Sounded like everyone was having fun. Mid week stay may be better for a quiet stay.
