The staff are very nice! But the room was too small for five people.

The location itself is great. The property is charming, and the owners are nice, at least when speaking to them in person. They even provided handmade breakfast on our first night. Additionally, the bathroom is AMAZING.

However, that's where the good things stop. We were unfamiliar with the area and thought initially that the distance listed on the site wouldn't be a problem. The location is nice and quiet, sure. You're near lots of hot springs. But as for any actual activities? Not even close.

My husband came in on a Navy ship and I flew out to meet him. The Navy has strict requirements on distance when in a foreign port. Given the amount of time it would take to get back to the ship, there was initially a concern as to whether this location was within his limits. Relaying this to the owners and asking for an exception to the cancellation policy was met with no understanding. The situation was beyond our control, yet their attitude was: "You reserved the room for X nights, we'll be keeping 100% of the fee whether you cancel or not." This was after telling them he could face serious trouble staying here. They just didn't care.

That situation was cleared up, but it only took one day to realize the cost of transport was too much. To reach any spot we wanted to visit in Nagasaki took approx. 6000¥ per person, each way.

We ended up changing hotels due to this, and they refused to refund even the later nights of the stay. Even hotels.com didn't assist. Very disappointing.

家内が足の調子が悪く、歩き回るのが辛いというので一戸建ての宿を探しました。
車も横付けでき、部屋も浴槽も広くゆっくりできました。

一風変わったホテルだなーと言う印象でしたが、フロントの方は優しく丁寧でフレンドリーな感じを受けたので良かったです
私たちの宿泊した部屋はポットや電子レンジなどもあったので、それを表記しておいていただけると助かったかな…
子供の受験日が悪天候予報で、前乗りのための宿泊先だったので、とりあえず安く、でもゆっくりできる場所を探したので、ベッドなどにこだわりは特にありませんでしたが、温泉♨️に入ることができたのは良かったです
独立したお部屋にそれぞれ1台分の駐車場があったのも荷物が運び込み安くて助かりました
お部屋の暖まりが少し悪い感じはしたので、フローリングでも暖かく過ごせるような工夫や持ち込んだ方がいいグッズのお知らせがあると、冬でももっとリラックスして過ごせるのかな?ソファーがないお部屋だったので…

Very warm reception and almost immediate response to all communications. We loved the bath water which leaves your skin feeling so soft and smooth. Parking was right outside our room. Breakfast (cold, hard boiled egg, salad, toast with margarine / jam, hot cup of coffee) arrived on the dot delivered to our room as arranged when we first checked in.. There was a microwave and mini fridge making it so convenient especially given how cold the weather was when we were there on 28 and 29 Dec 2024.

시골 감성의 독특한 숙소. 교통편이 애매하여 불편했으나 주인이 하루는 우레시노역까지 직접 차를 몰아서 데려다 주었다. 이튿날 다케오역까지는 우리가 찾아가야했다. 아침을 제공해 주었으나 별로 시원찮았다.

Great price, big room with double bed, couch and coffee table. TV, microwave etc all there for our use. Large Japanese style bathroom with separate toilet. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
