Pros:

Excellent hotel by the harbour. Lovely room. Friendly staff.would happily return. Breakfasts excellent.

Cons:

This is entirely a personal perspective but dinner at the Hive Restaurant had too many flavours going on for a sea bream dish.

Can't recommend the Townhouse enough. I will be back
Pros:

I have no complaints at all. The room was exceptional, large bathroom. Complimentary mini bar and snacks were an unexpected bonus. The free ice cream tokens were a delight. We used them for our dessert after eating at the Hive. The Townhouse supplied the usual toiletries but also bath robes, slippers, hairdryer, tongs and even a clothes steamer for use for those wedding outfits (we attended a wedding at Ty Glyn, thats another excellent story). Perfectly situated by the harbour with free parking available on the street or in a nearby car park. The staff were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We will def be back

Cons:

Couldn't get the shower to work on our last day, maybe a guide on what to do? The radio/clock in our room was 2 hours behind time, I was relying on it before our taxi arrival so it was a huge shock to find i was running late, but that's all

Pros:

The room was beautiful, all the little extras just made the stay even better.a fully stocked mini bar with snacks, toiletries and just the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The whole stay was fantastic

An amazing stay. The owners have paid attention to every detail. This has got to be the best property I have ever stayed

A great location. The property has been beautifully renovated. Beautiful decor. An amazing breakfast and dinner in the restaurant.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Every fine detail had been attended to.

Pros:

Modern, very well thought out room and fixtures and lots of complimentary items. Quality towels- hairdryer (GHD) - DAB radio - Steamer - multi fitting charging leads etc etc.

Room was so comfortable, relaxing, beautiful and luxurious. The views were great. Loved the copper bath tub, dressing gowns, slippers, toiletries, minibar provided. Excellent location.

Perfect - a relaxing stay in exceptionally well designed rooms with great staff. Super breakfast.
Pros:

The rooms at the Hive Townhouse are beautifully designed with great attention to detail and comfort. We had a large wet room shower, lots of fluffy towels and toiletries and it was spotlessly clean.
We particularly liked the way a member of staff showed us to our room and explained everything, rather than just being given a key as in most hotels.
Breakfast is served in the Hive restaurant just across the road. The breakfast menu covers everything with a wide selection to suit all needs. The ingredients are very high quality and beautifully cooked. The service was excellent.
The staff are great - attentive and always ready to help. They clearly take pride in looking after their customers.
Five stars all round from us.

By far the best hotel we have stayed in.
Pros:

By far the best hotel we have stayed in. It had everything and more that you could need. The views, location and decor were amazing. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. We also had a delicious breakfast included which was delicious. Great value for money, we will definitely be back.

Luxury on the quayside
Pros:

Location, design, cleanliness and comfort. Breakfast was really good with pleasant and efficient staff. The room was beautifully designed and very well equipped. The complementary minibar was a very pleasant surprise.

Cons:

It didn't have parking, but this didn't prove to be a problem as we were able to park nearby for free. The road layout proved a challenge as some were closed for resurfacing.
