I left it was not safe for myself or kids
Pros:

The ladies were lovely, and tried to help the best they could.

Cons:

No communication. Booked over a month in advance then turned up and they didn’t even know I had a room booked.
Smoke butts everywhere, empty rum cans around.
This places needs to be taken off bookings and be reported.
Nothing like the photos.
The owner was rude on the phone and no where to be found.

Poor & disgusting 🤮
Pros:

Nothing it’s a shit hole no Good facilities everywhere & everything is damaged it’s only for people where there are homeless you guys need to investigate the place &take down the advertisement post it doesn’t look no way like that 🙄😳🤬🤮🤮👎🏾 it’s a dump hole

Will not revisit
Pros:

Nothing it was terrible.

Cons:

The TV was not plugged in no aerial wire and no remote
There wasn’t any blankets on the bunk beds only one pillow had a pillow case and the other pillow without its cover was on the floor Dirty cups still on the sink Kitchen cupboards and the Bathroom cupboards are broken. Air conditioner cover was broken and on the floor and it was so load we had to turn it off Too many other things to mention

No breakfast supplied.

Cons:

Furnishings were spartan and in very poor condition. The rooms were infested with cockroaches. While the TV and microwave were new, the fridge was very old and worn. Had to request cutlery, crockery and toilet paper. No Wi-Fi. Knobs missing on overhead fan controls - had to move know from one control to the other to adjust fans. No soap, shampoo or conditioner provided.

EVERYTHING!!! If I could score it lower than a (1) I would!!! There were cockroaches 🪳 everywhere it was disgusting. We could not use the kettle as it was full of cockroach poop, it was everywhere too. In one of our rooms the toilet didn't work, we had no toilet paper at all in both rooms and no rubbish bins. It was beyond bad 👎🏽 😫. We stayed a total of about 30 minutes and left to find alternative accommodation. I have added pics but unfortunately it would not let me upload the videos!! My advice STAY AWAY at all cost!

I’m very disgusted with the management. They still owe me $150. The unit was clean but there was just no towels coffee m
Pros:

The property can have towels coffee soap anything in the bedrooms we paid two times and they owe us $190and they still have not repay it as I paid Booking.com and when I arrived at Edmonton Lodge then I paid another $150

Cons:

Out the front of appropriate there was residential people that must live there full-time very drunk. We lost $600. Must’ve dropped on the ground and nobody owned up to.

The staff were helpful

Cons:

There was a hole in the wall in the bathroom there was cockeroaches running all throuh the room the blind wouldnt shut and there was no blankets on the bed and pillows were really flat and the owner was arrogant when we asked him about the room. When we asked for blankets the owner said its cairns its way to hot for blankets, they dont supply them he need ti realise not everyone is from around cairns some people are from hotter areas.

Absolutely terrible, don’t do it.
Pros:

Close proximity to the highway.

Cons:

Run down, the photos look nothing like what the place is. Very run down, no functioning smoke alarms. Rubbish everywhere, the place is disgusting.
