Room was a bit old, air con worked but was loud. Didn't realize it was behind a pub when we booked there was a little bit of nose, garage truck etc and people talking, cars doors etc

Very cheap but extremely down at heel.
Pros:

Good food in the adjoining bar/restaurant, good value for money. Comfortable beds

Cons:

Poor bathroom facilities, no hot water for 2 days, no shower curtain/ door, broken toilet seat, very cramped room, all the electrics (TV, kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge off one plug socket) no coat hangers.

If you want real budget in Cairns with today’s prices I suppose it’s ok .
Pros:

Large comfortable bed
Timber floors
Quiet room
Late check in

Cons:

Very old and needs a total structural refurbishment.
Twin bed lamps wouldn’t work
Cockroach running around ensuite floor
No where to eat no small meal table or a chair
Ancient air con
However for Around $80 at least it’s safe accom for a night .

Not happy at all
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Floor very dirty no shower curtain. No plug for face wash. No tea spoons 3 forks 1 knife, no room for toaster a day electric juj on microwave. Room was not cleaned after 2nd night, sugar and coffee satchets was stale.
