Lovely hotel
Pros:

We stayed at Hotel Sigiriya and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were lovely, very clean, and comfortable. The swimming pool was excellent, and the food was delicious.
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, especially receptionist Manesha, Sulochana and porter Ajith, who were very helpful throughout our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay and would like to thank the entire team for their hospitality.

Happy with the hotel and staff.
Pros:

Location and the view was great! Very calm and nice staff.
We had a very creative guy that everytime he came to make up the room he made amazing towels decorations 🥰 That was very fun! Good breakfast although the coffee could be better not very good for people that enjoys a good cup pf coffee.

Cons:

Our bed was a bit uncomfortable i think that could be the only small detail.

Fijn hotel in sigiriya
Pros:

Mooi zwembad met prachtig uitzicht. Ontbijt is erg uitgebreid en goed! Net zoals het avondeten, zeker een aanrader!

Cons:

Op de tweede nacht zaten er opeens allemaal kleine insecten in bed, het leken soort van vliegende mieren. Dit gemeld bij de receptie en direct een nieuwe kamer gekregen! Erg goed geholpen!

Great location, if I were to stay again I’d select a better room! ‘Superior’ was basic.
Pros:

Location was excellent, quiet, staff friendly and attentive

Cons:

My room was shabby. Two plastic chairs on the patio - other rooms had loungers or better quality chairs. Mould on the bathroom ceiling, tired interior - failed to see what was ‘superior’ about it.

Pros:

Le gros atout de cet hôtel est sa localisation, tout près du site du Lion rock, et bien sûr la vue sur ledit Lion rock. Grande piscine, chambres propres et plutôt confortables.

Cons:

Nous n'avions pas réalisé à quel point cet hôtel était une grosse structure, ce qui ne nous correspond pas tout à fait.
Par ailleurs, cet hôtel est vieillissant et donne l'impression d'un entretien a minima. Nous n'avons pas été convaincu par la qualité du buffet, ni par l'attitude de certains personnels.

Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine hervorragende Lage, wenn man am frühen Morgen bereits den Lion Rock erklimmen will. Vom Pool aus kann man den Lion Rock bereits im Voraus bestaunen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und in ruhiger Lage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, respektvoll und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte eine grosse Auswahl.

Cons:

Wir waren etwas entäuscht, dass man vom Zimmer aus keinen direkten Blick auf den Lion Rock hatte (wir dachten nämlich, dass wir es so gebucht haben). Auf den Handtüchern sowie den Bettlaken hatten wir leider einpaar Flecken. Trotzdem würden wir die Unterkunft auf jedenfall weiterempfehlen und wieder kommen.
