Disappointing after our first stay, which is why we were keen to return. Hotel demanded money after we left claiming the

Location is great due to the view of the Rock

Cons:

Starting to become shabby, difficult to find room, allocated view of pump house and utilities, despite booking months in advance.
Food was poor, a lot of mediocre European food on the buffet which we can get at home. Bar snacks menu are better quality .
Not enough lounge chairs offering shade. Nobody takes a poolside order.
A joyless stay.

You won’t be disappointed with facilities at Hotel Sigiriya.

Pros:

Smuk udsigt over Lions head. Sjovt at se aber løbe på tagene og ved poolen. Varaner der går rundt i haven.

Cons:

Først fik vi givet et forkert værelse, men der blev rettet op på dette.
Værelserne var lidt slidte og levede ikke helt op til billederne. Forvent nærmere en junglelodge hvilket også har sin charme.

Pleasant but lacking the wow factor

The property was in a good location, buffet breakfast had good variety but wasn’t up to 5 star standard, some things didn’t seem very fresh.

Cons:

The rooms were average. Not very clean and very worn out. We ordered room service one night and all the food was very disappointing. Any time we ordered food it look over an hour to come. Staff were pretty good but not as attentive as you would expect at a 5 star hotel.

Vista Asombrosa de Lion Rock
Pros:

La piscina que está abierta la mayor parte del día, además de que tiene una vista a la Lion Rock asombrosa. El desayuno buffet también muy variado, y la comida excelente (en especial los hoppers). El personal fue siempre muy amabale. Cuenta con todo los servicios que puedas requerir.
