We had 2 nights booked but on arrival the hotel was closed. We subsequently found out the owners decided to close on a Monday and Tuesdays but we had not been told of this so we arrived at the property.
Hotel looked rundown. Grounds were unkept (grass not cut and flower beds full of weeds. Water fountain full of stagnant water. This would ex[plain the owners decision to close for 2 nights !!!
Excellent location accommodation exceptional with beautiful decor
This is an amazing location.
The staff where extremely helpful and we will return in the not too distant future.
This was a last minute treat and it exceeded all expectations.
Lovely room and the main house and grounds were spectacular
Very poor information on arrival. Confusion over how to access car parking and which one to use. Very poor directions and signage to room and property facilities provided on arrival. Room number 24 was located inside rooms 25 and 26 with no number 24 sign provided. Electric gate didn’t work on departure.
The Breakfast is amazing. We also had dinner in restaurant the previous evening, and the food is truly delicious.
Was interested in history of the location and house. The sauna /spa closed at 1700 hours and only opened at 1000am. Compare that with designated sign in and leave policy. So it's just bullshit. When I actually physically visited the spa... Attendant was asleep on the reception couch and couldn't speak either English nor Irish. Very disappointed
Large room and huge bed, a small kitchenette. Smart TV and a shower and large bath. More than you'd expect from a hotel room.
Nothing.
Spa and room was 1st class
Girl serving in restaurant was a bit rude
I love the quiet calm environment that is so personal and relaxing. I felt like we were the only people in the hotel.
Housekeeping could have cleaned the room when we were at breakfast.
