Pros:

Excellent position. Very quiet.

Cons:

We have stayed in this hotel before and there is a significant down turn. In our bedroom- Double socket plug had failed test was not allowed to be used. Light over Bathroom basin was not allowed to be used. Masses of wires hanging down outside the window with the TV areal coming through the window into the room. It felt unclean and the hotel had a general smell. The shower was a dribble and the water was luke warm at 8am. We will go back when there are improvements.

Perfect location with a 30- 40 min reach to the museums, galleries, west end shows, etc.
Pros:

The staff is friendly: kind, offered the umbrella when it rained, landed the adaptor, kept safe my suitcases the last day after check-out. The reception has a lovely dog Monty which made me even more welcome as I own a pet myself.

Cons:

Even it was mentioned that English breakfast is provided, I thought, I would find something more to digest. Being pescatarian all I had (the same each morning): eggs, tomatoes, some cerial and yoghurt. The kitchen staff was pretending to be nice but in the kitchen gossip. But the worst thing was that the last two days I was bothered by the chambermaids (the same working in the kitchen) at 9-10a.m. by knocking at the door (to see if the guest is gone, so they can proceed with cleaning), not even saying “sorry” making you feel to maybe replan your day…

Pros:

Lo mejor fue la atención recibida y la ubicación, justo en hyde park, cerca de paradas de autobuses y metro. Además de un desayuno muy completo.

Cons:

Necesita alguna reforma de instalaciones. La puerta del baño y de entrada no cerraban bien.
Nos tocó en la última planta y sin ascensor.

Good value for money in central London
Pros:

We were given a very warm welcome & accommodation to suit our needs. The room was clean, nice warm shower, comfortable beds & it was quiet. The cooked breakfast was lovely with plenty of tea, coffee & juices. All of the staff were friendly. Good accessible location for central London & very good value for money.

Cons:

Nothing. Cannot complain at that price.
