The most appropriate word to describe the hotel accommodation is terrible.
Pros:

The location of the hotel was good. But the hotel was terrible. There was a terrible smell in the hallway and room. I checked in at 2pm on 9 July 2026 and I checked out at 6.30pm on 9 July 2026, because of the smell.

Cons:

The hotel is in terrible condition. I would not give the hotel any stars. It is the worst hotel I have stayed at. It is run down and has a terrible smell. I'm not sure what is causing the smell, but it seemed to be a damp smell. Which would indicate that there is hidden mold, mildew or bacteria growing. This hotel needs to be investigated, because I believe it is unsafe for anyone who stays there.

Pros:

The location was ok.

Cons:

We stayed in room 103 which adjoined another room via internal door. The first night our neighbours in the other room were incredibly noisy until 4am. The second night an alarm in an adjacent building went on and off all night. Not a relaxing stay.

It was clean neat and professional and have us eat access to visit our friends who live nearby in East Melbourne

Cons:

As a couple visiting it would have been good to have a second chair for us to be able to sit together and have chairs and a little table outside to sit and have a nice wine etc
