restaurant.. dinner...food well prepared and great server. Room immaculate (but a bit tired).
reception un-manned twice. At 5pm check in, and then when I went back to chase up a restaurant booking. A sign at reception said 'press buzzer'. No one came so I had to go looking for someone in the restaurant to help me check in. Hotels of this quality should be fully staffed with at least one receptionist always at check-in during daytime hours. The bathroom lacked charm and the door was badly scratched. It needed a repaint.

The room was immaculate. The bed was so comfy it felt like i was sleeping on a cloud...Check-in was smooth & the chocolate brownies given on arrival were so yumm..
We were situated on level 1 and our room was close to about 2 or 3 exits which was very convenient.. It might just be my favorite room at Carnmore Chateau..
