Primitive coast accommodations
Pros:

Convenient access from D400 highway. Short walk over pedestrian overpass to restaurants and beach. Dinner on the beach as evening darkness set in and full moon rose.

Cons:

Very primitive accommodations. My room didn't have a fridge. (Another did). No towels provided (for "hygiene reasons"???) Hot water just a dribble. No longer a breakfast option, even at extra cost. My balcony table very dirty, hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Room itself acceptable on cleanliness. Not a bargain for this level of accommodation. Staff spoke essentially no English, which complicated arrangements, adjustments, adaptions, and requests. Town beach very littered. One emerges from wading with bits of plastic sticking to legs. The locals enjoyed their evening dips anyway. Moonlight helped a lot in improving the ambiance.
