Nettes Hotel direkt am See mit kleineren praktischen Mängeln
Pros:

Von außen und im Treppenhaus wirkt das Hotel klassisch bis etwas in die Jahre gekommen, von innen ist es aber modern eingerichtet. Die Beleuchtung ist gut. Ein gutes Frühstück gibt es im Restaurant (in ca. 50 m Entfernung) a la carte. Die Lage ist optimal: direkt am See und an Badegelegenheiten und doch ruhig. Castro und allgemein der Iseo-See sind auch nicht so überlaufen wie etwa der Garda-See und der Comer See.

Cons:

Die Inneneinrichtung ist auf modern gestylt, mitunter aber auf Kosten der Funktionalität. Das betrifft insbesondere das Bad, in dem es zu wenig Ablagefläche gibt und auch das Waschbecken nicht unbedingt praktisch ist. Besonderes "Highlight": In jedem Zimmer gibt es eine Kaffeemaschine, aber keine Kaffeetassen oder Löffel - und auch keinen Stuhl, auf den man sich setzen könnte. Im übrigen funktionierte die Maschine bei meinen Töchtern nicht einmal. Modernistischer Zierrat oder formalistische Bedingung für die Sternebewertung des Hotels? Auf jeden Fall sinnfrei. Die Aussicht von meinem Zimmer (auf den Parkplatz und die Wand des Nebenhauses in wenigen Metern Entfernung) war unterdurchschnittlich.
Die Küche des Restaurants ist prinzipiell gut, das Restaurant aber notorisch chaotisch organisiert: Wir (3 Personen) haben unser Gericht nie gleichzeitig bekommen. Was noch ärgerlich ist: Ich habe meine - ausdrücklich als "side dishes" gekennzeichnete - Beilagen beim letzten Mal 15 Minuten vor dem Fleisch bekommen. Wir haben daher dort nur zweimal gegessen.

Absolut schön!
Pros:

In erster Linie hat mir das extrem spektakuläre Zimmer gefallen. Ich glaube, es gibt keine bessere Aussicht am Iseo See. Dazu kommt die extrem ausgefallene Inneneinrichtung, die mir sehr gefallen hat. Das Frühstück und das dazugehörige Restaurant für das Abendessen waren absolut romantisch und wunderschön.

Un séjour inoubliable.
Pros:

Nous avons passé deux jours merveilleux dans cette chambre d'hôtel et tout était parfait.

​La vue : Le point fort incontestable du séjour ! Se réveiller avec une vue superbe et dégagée sur le lac a été un véritable enchantement du matin au soir.

​Le confort : La chambre était impeccable, décorée avec soin et d'une propreté irréprochable. La literie est d'un grand confort, garantissant des nuits parfaitement reposantes.

​Le service : L'accueil a été chaleureux et le personnel s'est montré attentif, discret et souriant tout au long de notre séjour.
