The property is central to everything. The rooms are large for Europe and the bathroom had a bathtub! There were extra blankets and a variety of pillows.
Coffee at breakfast was excellent!
Staff were helpful both before I arrived and during my stay.
There is nothing to absorb the sound such as carpeting so you hear every noise, everyone talking in the halls and closing their doors. Further, while I thought that being on the side opposite the square would be quieter, the sounds from people walking and talking on the street below at night were very loud even with the windows closed,
The breakfast was heavy on sweets such as cakes and there was only one kind of cheese and lousy bread.

We loved our room with a view. The property was very clean, and the staff was very nice. We even had fresh eggs made for us at breakfast. The property is in the perfect location and made touring the town and relaxing very easy.
There was nothing we didn't like.
From what we saw, this was the only hotel right on the main square and facing the Orvieto Duomo, which is the hub of activity. So the best location out of all other hotels and guesthouses in the area!
It’s a small and cozy hotel with charming and exceptionally clean rooms with calming blues and white colours, almost gives a sense of being the countryside. Luckily our window faced the alleyway and the houses at the back, so it was very quiet an we had a restful sleep.
Due to the hotel’s location, we were able to sit out at the front patio overlooking the square and the Duomo till well into the night—-definitely do not miss doing this!
Hotel staff do speak some English as well.
The checkout time is earlier than the typical 11am.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious, loved the extra pillows, and the bed comfy. I always felt safe and cared for. The location was primo and I loved the ability to walk anywhere!

La vue ! Quelle vue ! Dormir sur la place d'Orvieto, le Dôme à sa fenêtre est fabuleux. L'hôtel est simple, confortable, propre et l'accueil agréable. Il y avait des gâteaux maison au petit-déjeuner.
