It had a very nice pool and direct access to the beach
The password didn’t work for Wi-Fi. The hill was a little much for us old folks
Location- Direct ocean access
Rooms were dated. It had a bad musky smell due to wetness.
It was on the beach
It wasn’t clean, staff wasn’t too friendly
The beach was rad! However they close the gates at 5pm
What in the world
Let me count the ways. Rooms were horrid and dirty. Mattress was from 1971! Toilet would not flush. Shower was a drip! Sink water had bits and dirt co
I go out! The pool was covered in monkey poop.... shall I go on!?
Arboleda is a delightful "old lady of an hotel ... slightly dated, very well priced and the location is fantastic! Beautiful beach front on the quiet side of the beach with loungers and walking distance to the Manuel Antonio National Park. We enjoyed the hospitality of the family run establishment and the charm of yesteryear ! They also make a great Pina Colada!!
Plumbing in and around Manuel Antonio is an issue so a bit unsophisticated.
The location was phenomenal. The veranda out side the room had a good view, was sheltered from the sun and a pleasant place to sit. The Hotel is set amongst forest and almost on the beach. The wildlife comes to you. The swimming pool has seen better days but it’s in a very special location and the capuchin monkeys regularly visit to hang out with their family. The beach is totally amazing. Manuel Antonio is only a 10 minute jaunt along the beach. This hotel is an experience in itself. Well worth a visit.
The lack of information concerning the steep gradient from hotel rooms to reception. It was an arduous climb. The hotel rooms need updating but they have everything you need, air conditioning, a refrigerator, a shower and a bed. The restaurant is open but only used it once, nothing to write home about but OK.
This hotel is best suited for visits by car. It is located on the bottom of a very steep hill which makes both walking up to find public transportation or taxis hard work.
Location Location Location..beach is steps away and BEAUTIFUL! hotel is ok, not luxury by any means but clean, air condition worked great, shower was good and perfect for us.
We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. The rooms were all right in a row together and had A/C. We saw lots of wildlife.
I booked 4 rooms. One didn't have a fridge, two didn't have TVs. The internet only worked about 5% of the time, the network would just disappear. I got shocked by the shower head while taking a shower. There was often no water and it went out right when we were trying to shower before checkout. The toilet tank in one room didn't fill up and I had to fill it up with a cup from the sink in order to flush. The rooms are not right on the beach. It was a very narrow and steep drive up to the main road and not easily walkable. The restaurant closest to the beach and the rooms closes at 3pm. The pool area doesn't have enough chairs and the ground around the pool is extremely uncomfortable to walk on without shoes. General lack in upkeep of the outdoor stairs, no rails.
Close to ocean
Down steep hill. Hasn’t been renovated in prob 50 years. Couldn’t find any staff at all. Felt like I was in the 1970s
