Sapumal palace

Hosts were very friendly and helpful, and have their own tuk tuk for trips.
The bed was comfy, the bathroom excellent with lots of hot water.
Breakfast was great, with a variety of different items including hoppers, pancakes, eggs and fruit..
Only a short walk from town.
You get personal attention as there is only one room at Sapumal.

A perfect place to stay while in Ella.
Room was spacious, super clean and had everything needed.
Als a little fridge and a kettle.

They als organize things to do for you and helpful with everything you need.

Host was nice and the hot water in the shower was very hot

Sapumal Palace is in a peaceful area, just a pleasant 7-minute walk from the main road. The mountain setting makes it refreshingly cool. During our stay, the shower water was cold and the bed linen could have felt a bit fresher, but the owner’s warm hospitality and welcome drink made us feel very comfortable.

Vše pohodlné a čisté, krásné posezení před pokojem mezi palmami. Moc milí hostitelé. A kousíček od ubytování je restaurace s fantastickým výhledem. Blízko je také Nine Arches Bridge a Little Adam's Peak. Obojí se dá zvládnout procházkou.

Everything, and the owners were amazing

Very good and friendly host. Warm welcome. The accommodation was super clean and smelled nice. There was a duvet and warm blankets in case it got cold in the mountains. The location was great, just a 10-minute walk to Ella. A bit hilly, but manageable. Tuk-tuks don’t always like to go there, but the owner offered us rides and even took us to town. The accommodation is close to little Adam’s peek and nine arch bridge The breakfast was very good and plentiful—actually, the best breakfast we had at any accommodation in Sri Lanka..

The place is located close to the main road, but in more local neighborhood, far from the tourist noise. Nearby there are several restaurants (I recommend you just to eat the food that Sapumal Palace offers) and laundries. It's very close to the route to the Little Adam's Peak and the shortest path to see the Bridge.

Room was very comfortable and we had a hot water all the time, that is not that common in Sri Lanka.
The owner and her family were paying a lot of attention to our needs.

Breakfasts were spectacular! The best we had in Sri Lanka! Fresh juice, tea, fruits, eggs, pankakes, roti...
The same with dinner, we ate it once and it was delicious!

The house is situated in a perfect area where you have a mountain view and it's only a few minute walk to the city centre (this is good because of the party noises and vehicles). The bed is comfortable and welcome tea was provided. They offer laundry service as well (cheapest for the area). The main attraction is CHOCO the little brown puppy, please bring treats for her. You will love her and make your stay even better.

The best place for a stay. They were very kind and supportive. Food was very tasty, reasonable prices also.. Highly Recommended to all. Thank you for your fullest support to make our stay amazing.. 😊🙏

It’s a little bit out of Ella but that makes it a quite place. Beautiful room, one of the best I had in Ella. Very polite and friendly guy working there. And yes again, it’s quite. You won’t hear the parties all night long from the village. Perfect

Owners were really lovely, comfy bed, good location not too far from Main Street of Ella.

Very helpful family running the place and they are extremely supportive and kind. It is a small homestay !
