Money saver
Pros:

Needed to stay the night close to the central station. This hotel is rather basic but does the job. Inexpensive, superclose to the train and bus stations, the room was clean and very warm, even the bathroom was warm! Hot water came immediately. The bed was comfy. The room is small, but for one night stay it's OK. I had a quiet sleep. The construction work nearby went on even on Saturday morning, but they were doing some quiet woodwork so it didn't bother me at all. Friendly receptionists.

Cons:

The bathroom was a bit under the lowest standard of good hygiene. The spaces between wall tiles had a bit of mold, and the sink had a rather disgusting rusty old tap that felt rough to the touch. Time to refurbish the wc.
Generaly, the room was rather worn and had a not very fresh smell, like an old couch at granma's or something. But for an economy stay for one night, en route to another destination, it did the job, no problem.

Decent but some rooms need renovation
Pros:

The location is perfect, next to the railway and bus station as well as the old town.
The staff is quite friendly.

Cons:

Some rooms definitely need to be jazzed up.
The edge of the curtain in the bathroom was black because of the mould. It was absolutely disgusting ((
It'd also be nice to have at least a bottle of water and a kettle provided.

Much worse than advertised but location is good
Pros:

Location of the hotel us, obviously a winner. We have to stay in this hotel during the stop over. The staff during this stay was extremely nice which was quite a different experience. But hotel management should seriously review what their hotel is like! Read the second part of our review to see all the aspects of how bad the hotel is compared to what has been advertised.

Cons:

I have deliberately requested the baby cot in advance, specified that the last time it wasn’t provided altogether, and was assured by property in messages that it would be ready this time. Upon arrival, of course, the hotel staff at Reception were not aware at all. At least they were able to find one for us. Regrettably, all the slats of the bottom of the baby cot were broken except 2. We had to ask staff for an additional insert - luckily they had one more with some broken slats too, so by putting them two (one on top of each other) we somewhat managed to let the baby sleep in it.
We had booked a suite. First of all, it is nowhere near the advertised pictures. It is a one room (not a suite 100%) that is bigger than the regular rooms. What was worse, the individual AC wasn’t working. We couldn’t adjust the temperature in any way. The staff tried to help but apparently nobody knows how to operate the thermostat either.
The toilet seat had some stains on it. Unclear whether it was dirt or smth else.
Quite an experience, tbh… but the distance and location were what we needed most despite the rest
