Water drain was not good, a lot of ants, a bit hard bed
Good location to look for food and to the Night Market along the river . There were 200TBH voucher to redem every morning for breakfast. Staffs were helpful and room has a balcony to dry the laundry
The decoration is simple but convenient. There is a noodle restaurant next to the hotel. There is a self-serving washer and dryer near the reception.
The furniture is a bit outdated.
If you travel by car, restaurants can be reached within a few minutes driving. No restaurants around in walking distance. Upon arrival, the receptionist will hand over a voucher with which hotels guests can get a discount on a coffee or drink at the Cafe Amazon. This is right next to the hotel.
Mattress and pillows are quite hard. More hangers in the wardrobe would be nice. Nothing else to be mentioned negative.
Good value
Not a lot close by in short walking distance, as far as sights, shopping and food. However, the small noodle soup shop in front of the property was charming and delicious.
very nice staff, and they gave us a 50 baht coupon for the Amazon café, which is almost part of the hotel. Location is pretty good.
The beds were not very comfortable, very hard. The elevator was the worst, though… It was so loud!! we weren’t even so near the elevator, but it seems like the whole building shook in shuttered. Every time it went up, down, or the doors opened.

Most tourists only travel through Surat Thani but we decided to give it a shot and were not disappointed. Hotel is great, staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are spacious. You get vouchers for the coffee bar on the corner which was nice. I can only recommend to stay there and have a look at Surat Thani. Nice island park nearby (Ko Lamphu), typical restaurants (with a lot of hot pot options) in the area, nearly no tourists which is a nice change after having been on the islands. Hotel was very nice and helpful when we forgot a bag outside waiting for a taxi.
