Pros:

Antike, charmant eingerichtete Hauseinrichtung mit suboptimaler Kücheneinrichtung. Gastgeber bemüht, fast nur über Mail zu erreichen. Lage optimal im Zentrum, Canada place und Bahnhof in wenigen Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen.

A great destination; we'll be sure to return in the future.
Pros:

We stayed at the Guest House for three nights with our son, his wife and their three children (ages 5, 9 and12). The house itself was amazing! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our group; a large kitchen and sitting area for us to all gather together; nooks and crannies to have our own space when we wanted. The weather wasn't great, but when there was sun, the outside deck had a great view of the surrounding area. The location was also amazing. Close to the Sky Train, major bus lines and Pacific Centre; lots to see within easy walking distance. Plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee shops available and the grocery store and liquor store were easy to find. The Guest House cost more than I wanted to spend on lodgings, but given the ample space and superior location, I think it was worth it. A great find and an amazing host!

Cons:

The kitchen was fine for our needs, but I wouldn't try to fix a large meal as there's not much counter space or sink space. We discovered a slight leak from one of the showers, but our host, Jake, came to check on as soon as I messaged him.

Excellent and comfortable.
Pros:

We had the whole house to ourselves, and there was plenty of space. Beds were comfortable, House was warm. Kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfasts (and we could have made other meals if we'd wanted).

Cons:

The proximity to the rougher areas - the drug problem seems to have grown since we last visited on 2019.

The no parking . And there’s a crunch across the street blaring bells at 8am Saturday and Sunday . Really close to east Hastings
