10/10 – A wonderful stay surrounded by nature
Pros:

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Shawandha and would happily return. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the location was beautiful, and the room was spotless. I also really appreciated the complimentary coffee for the room and the breakfast was nice.

The only small point I'd mention is that the paths can become quite slippery because of the moss and the naturally wet environment, so it's worth taking extra care when walking around the property.

The other thing, which isn't really the hotel's fault, was that some guests walked past the bungalows talking quite loudly, particularly late in the evening. It might be nice if visitors could be gently reminded to keep noise to a minimum around the accommodation.

One of the unexpected highlights was being woken up by the howler monkeys at around 4:50 am. It certainly made for a memorable rainforest experience!

Overall, a brilliant stay in a beautiful setting. I would definitely recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Pros:

La ubicación se puede ir caminando a la playa, muy bonita la playa para disfrutar en familia.
El desayuno estuvo rico

Cons:

La habitación era de madera y olía mucho a humedad. El clima estaba bastante húmedo y eso pudo haber contribuido. Pero el olor era incómodo
El personal a la hora del desayuno le faltó amabilidad, cuando llegamos a desayunar tuvimos que esperar que nos pusieran cubiertos, ya que la persona responsable no estaba ahí. Tuve que ir a pedirlos

Très chouette séjour dans un lieu magnifique mais peut faire mieux
Pros:

La localisation de l’établissement est tout simplement incroyable. Les bungalows sont dispersés dans la forêt avec suffisamment d’espace entre chacun afin de maintenir une certaine intimité pour chacun. La piscine est sans prétention mais est très agréable avec la chaleur. La plage est à 5 minutes de marche et vaut certainement la peine en saison sèche. Le lieu est juste magnifique ! L’arbre ceiba géant est impressionnant et c’est chouette de voir différents animaux se balader à leur guise sur le terrain.
La dame responsable du service en cuisine en journée est très sympathique et nous a donné de bons conseils!

Cons:

Cela se résume à quelques détails mais qui malheureusement ne passent pas inaperçus :
Des taches de javel sur certains draps, le paiement de notre séjour à été débité en plusieurs fois pour des raisons obscures de limites sur le terminal ce qui a résulté en un blocage total de la carte de crédit pour cause de suspicion de fraude (cela n’avait pas l’air de déranger le responsable de la réception lorsque j’ai abordé le sujet)… j’ai du appeler ma banque pour débloquer la carte , le verre de bienvenue est resté sur notre terrasse pendant 3 jours et était plein de moucherons… personne n’a pensé à le débarrasser, et enfin le personnel au restaurant le matin n’était pas très sympathique. Selon moi le management a besoin d’un électrochoc pour un peu relancer tout cela car le lieu est un diamant qui mériterait facilement un 10/10.

Pros:

El desayuno y el personal del hotel.

Cons:

Todo lo demás, instalaciones, la cabaña no tenía ventanas acristaladas sólo una mosquitera y una cortina. Hacía una humedad terrorífica que entraba del exterior. El baño había que bajar por unas escaleras mojadas, por el grado de humedad existente, especialmente peligroso por la noche.

Buen Hotel.
Pros:

Excelente ubicación, buen desayuno, el entorno es muy tranquilo. Cenamos un dia allí y la sopa de tomate y la pizza muy rica.

Cons:

El baño , tenía una grada que en la noche no se ve, y la pared del baño no estaba limpia. Aunque la habitación tenía aire acondicionado, se entraban insectos que nos picaron en la noche.
