Didnt get much sun on the terrace but that was fine.

I booked this apartment because the terrace looked beautiful in the photos, but I was disappointed to find that it gets no sun at all throughout the day. The apartment itself could also have been better cleaned.

The bed on the ground floor was squeaking, so we slept separately to get better quality of sleep. Also, I do not understand why the apartments in Tenerife usually have relatively narrow beds. I guess the ones in this apartment are 140cm wide, but the rooms could easily fit 180cm wide beds. It would add a lot of comfort for the guests.
The pool area is relatively compact. It was not an issue for us, as we stayed mostly in the beach, but if we would have been there for a pool holiday, then we would have preferred a complex with larger pool.

The property was very clean except for the blankets that were concerning the couch. They were obviously dusty and dirty which was disappointing as they can just be washed in the washing machine. We used the extra bed blankets to cover the couches so we could sit down.

-Wasn’t the freshest, the property had a stale smell like a dirty mop had been used, the soft upholstery (cushions, fleece blankets and bed spreads) in the property smelled, I don’t think these are washed so made us feel conscious to use them, with only one thin sheet as bedding this didn’t make the evenings very comfortable as it wasn’t the warmest while we were there.
-Would have been happier if curtains closed, think a double curtain rail is needed for the aesthetic look the property is going for, evenings you can see straight in.
-A couple of us who are allergic to pet hair were having symptoms which would suggest pets present previously which might explain the smell in the building. Listing says pets not allowed, but at the same time says there are pet bowls available?
-Fridge seal has clearly gone, as we had to keep one of the stools in front of the fridge to keep it closed to stop our food from being ruined.
-Small bugs all in the kitchen, made it difficult to leave dry goods out.
-Beds very hard and uncomfortable, like sleeping on a park bench.
-Only one sun bed when the property pictures show 2.
-No proper oven, microwave/convection cooker only, way too high to be used properly, not the best for retrieving hot food when you’re having to reach above your head or stood on a small plastic pop up step (h&s issue).

We were looking forward to sitting outside on a sunny terrace, but the terraces are on the side of the property that does not get any sun.
The community pool has too little space to accommodate everyone in the complex, loungers reserved with towels and very little walking space as soon as the pool opens.

Terrible communication from the host before we arrived no instructions to check in at Garden City complex as this is a privately owned apartment within a complex not a business called 'Alesol'. They had no idea we were arriving which has happened previously we were told and they did not know if cleaning had taken place, host could not be contacted when we arrived and was of no help whatsoever until the following day if the kind lady at reception hadn't of helped and figured out the mystery of 'Alesol' for us we would have had no where to stay. No oven or freezer in apartment. No fresh towels after a few days as no cleaning service until you check out. Seems over priced from speaking to others during our stay.
