Definitely the best hotel I've stayed at while in Melbourne. The location was fantastic and it was super close to a tram stop on Bourke street. The staff were amazing and made me feel so welcome. Cleo's was fantastic. Great breakfast and fabulous cocktails. My room faced Bourke Street, and I loved it. So many lovely touches. I can't wait to treat myself to another stay.
For the price I paid it was very disappointing. Staff were hostile, the rooms were so noisy at night. Understand we are in the middle of the city but there was no sound barrier. The only thing complimentary were the drinks IF you could get a spot at their bar which was impossible. The restaurant Marmello was also extremely disappointing. Food was great but we had to wait 30 minutes for our pre-booked table and staff were rude with no compensation.
Location . Restaurants. Price
No space for suitcases . Poor lighting for makeup
Very conveniently located, modern, clean and surprisingly quiet given its location
Great location, very clean, friendly staff, hotel has cool restaurants and bars
Location, styling and new.
I’ve stayed twice in Queen and King rooms and both rooms incredibly dark with terrible lighting and also very noisy (from above, corridor and outside, so clearly a build issue). I forgot my iPhone charger and asked to borrow one and was told to go to Kmart as they don't have chargers or adaptors (sorry, this is pathetic for a $400 night hotel).
